Quinnipiac beat Union 4-0 and 3-2 in the regular season. QU is a great team. They may not have played their best game today, while Union played a fantastic game (maybe their best all year, you'd have to ask those who get to watch them regularly).

Union had many injuries and is ayi g their best hockey. Q peaked in Feb

Bc. You are the best and no disputing, even after upset tonight. Carlton, du fan here, for the sake of honesty, make a post about how overrated bc is and how they didn't deserve to be where they were. You talked chit all year and it would be the honorable thing to do.

I told you DU was overrated and sure enough, they got knocked out in the first rd by the 5th place team in HE. DU was never close to a top 4 team and only had a good record due to their easy early schedule. Did I think BC would get clobbered in the first rd, absolutely not, but considering what the roster looked like, it still wasn't a bad year and they certainly had more impressive early season wins than DU and at the time earned their high ranking. We all knew going in that the team had no depth and sure enough they never really got back on track after all the injuries. In the end, both teams did chit in the tourney and that's all that really matters.

With this D we knew this team had the chance to get bent over and surely they did.

The only good thing is the only jersey change a non-senior on this team will have will be from a jersey to a suit.

Good thing Jerry has his best recruiting class at BC coming in next year as the only players who I'd be shocked if they're not playing on opening night are: 12, 13, 24, 27, 5 & I guess 7 since he's a senior. Going to be nice to have some competition for minutes.

Congrats to the most successful SR class in BC history, 4 beanpots, 3 HE tourney champs, 2 HE RS champs, 2 National Championships.

Don't see too many beating that run.

Well, at least we didn't beat ourselves in this game. Union beat us fair and square. Very good hockey team there.

There was one other good thing... we got to see Gaudreau-Mullane-Whitney reunited with just over 8:00 to go in the 2nd period and through the remainder of the game. Not that it changed the result, but it gave this fan hope. Almost scored on their first shift back together.

Thanks for a great season Eagles. Good luck to all the seniors in your future endeavors.

Don't agree here

One of the worst Sr classes in many years.
Lost HE reg season title, lost in semis in HE tourn and got blown out in 1st rd of NCAA.

I would say it is fair in saying the Sr class had very little to do with 3 previous years.
Just an observation. Lots of hardware but zero their sr year outside Beanpot

For their senior SEASON, yes, they had a bu like year (beanpot only) but mullane, whitney and milner were all major contributors last year at the very least

Do not understand why alleged BC fans - going by their clothing - couldn't be bothered to cheer the team at all and then large percentage left early. From the postgame release: BC’s senior class, which captured four Beanpot titles, three Hockey East Tournament championships, two league regular-season titles and two NCAA championships, concluded its stellar four-year careers with a combined record of 114-40-9. Seriously, you can't stick around a little longer to applaud them?

Well folks happy Easter. If you didn't see this coming you were not paying attention, have an extra chromosome, or know nothing about hockey. Worst BC team in 15 years straight up. Half this team belongs in the stands. Hopefully next year that is exactly where most are.

This game had it all from a season perspective. Dumb penalties, milner's nightly nap time, (nit)Whitney, inability to shoot the puck into an open net, getting physically beat, and no emotion whatsoever.

Justice was served last night. You can't keep playing Vermont and Harvard and northeastern and pretend to be good.

I think BC is a few years out before these classes get BC back to where they should be. I'll settle for a team with size ad toughness that at least battles every night and puts up a fight.

Ol one eye on the bench had his players so scared of his looks that they played scared. Where in the f was billet, the human skillet I wanna know ?? Back to the drawing board boys...I'd be searching for a new coach about now. This one looks to be spent.
