Wow, it's been a while since I posted here. I posted in tickets section also, but if anyone has an extra ticket for tonight, let me know. I'll meet you at the game.
Good to know that after all these years, the same characters are still lurking around here :)

Re: Boston College '12-'13: Gaudreaubey Baker

Will be leaving Westwood area around 5:45 for game and most direct route is 95 N to route 9...but i don't know how the traffic in that direction is on a friday night. should i seek a different route?

Re: Boston College '12-'13: Gaudreaubey Baker

Ever sit next to a leprechaun at one of these games? I did. Bunch of tools.

I have and am not looking forward to it Saturday night

No clue JD, the only traffic things I know is the trip from the pike to BC on a Friday night is miserable.

I find it is usually quicker on a Friday night to take Rte 1 or 109 to VFW Parkway, then take Lagrange St to Hammond St to Beacon.

I travel 95 N from the South Shore to BC all the time for games. Usually a steady flow of traffic from Rt. 1 to Rt. 9, even if traffic is heavy. I've been many other routes and Rt. 128 (95 N) is by far the quickest way (my JP friends, being city folk, always have a quicker route... haha, quicker my arse... too many lights. Been there, done that).

Where you'll get bogged down is on Rt. 9... it's a nightmare! I don't take Rt. 9. Get off the exit before Rt. 9 at Needham Highlands. Turn right off the ramp and keep going about a mile. Come to the 2nd light and turn left towards Newton Center. You will go under the Rt. 9 overpass. Follow a couple miles straight into Newton Center, right at the light onto Beacon St. BC is a few miles down the road. I'll leave Hanover at 5:30, be in my seat by 6:20, 6:30 at latest. If I took Rt. 9, I'd be pushing 7 pm.

Matt Gaudreau will in all likelihood be a 2014 guy and colton you forgot Fitzgerald

Well, that was a spectacular hockey game tonight, played like playoff hockey on both sides. Both teams wanted this game bad and both left it all out on the ice IMO. Bravo.

My three stars:
Johnny Gaudreau... how many d-men did he undress out there tonight? The two in the first period were special. My goodness he is fun to watch.

Parker Milner... I've seen some Eagle goalies make great circus saves over the years, but this kid does it on a nightly basis. I am no longer surprised when he stones the guy sitting all alone on the back door with an empty net to shoot at. He made more circus saves tonight than Johhny undressed d-men.

Pat Mullane... this team seems to have taken on his personality. It's balls to the wall hustle throughout the entire lineup.

I refuse to believe this team can't continue to win with two scoring lines. As long as they remain healthy, they'll be fine. Running 4 lines with the intensity these guys bring each shift just wears teams down. It's a darn pleasure to watch the work ethic of this team.
Go Eagles!

Re: Boston College '12-'13: Gaudreaubey Baker

3rd and 4th lines had good games tonight. Generated some chances/pressure and weren't a liability.

Feels **** good to beat Notre Dame..

Dear Jeff Jackson,

The mid 90s called. They want their garbage hockey back.

Honest to God

his excellence is now expected and he makes the most difficult saves look routine .......it's pretty special when your team has the best goalie in college hockey, isnt it?

I just need to mention Quinn Smith, I love watching this kid play, and Fivehole12, talk about balls to the wall? this kid is that in spades, i thought he had a great game..............and what about that pass from Matheson to Gaudreau on the second goal?? Me thinks we will be very fortunate to have #5 at The Heights for 2 years
