Yeah, here we are bemoaning the fact that we only have two really good forward lines, then you take a team like Maine that doesn't even have two good players. Kinda puts things in perspective I guess.... :)

good for UMass, at least he is in HE ...........looking forward to Matheson lining him up for one next year. :cool:

UMass seems to like our rejects. First Tiefenwerth now Vatrano. Too bad Saponari didn't go there as well.

I wish him the best. Don't know the details on what happened but it sounded like it was a pretty sucky turn of events for him when he left. Glad he kept his eligibility by playing EJHL.

Since we're talking about the WIH team a little bit... worthy of discussion here, did anyone notice the ladies have a gold jersey? It's basically like the home and away with the stripes but gold in color. I saw it in a vid cap of the women's team highlights on HEonline and then checked out the video to get a better look. Pretty interesting.

Alex Carpenter looks like she may be able to take Vatrano's place on that 3rd line! ;) but seriously, she's a monster talent huh?

She does have a younger brother coming up through the ranks; not sure if he's D1 talent or not but I'd imagine BC has a good shot at him if he is.

While we're on the subject, keep the son of Marty McInnis, '98 defenseman Luke McInnis, on the radar as he appears to be very good. He was highlighted on a Top 20 Beantown Fall Classic list by USHR on Tuesday and could be a NTDP candidate.

I think they look good. Better than the whites and maroons anyway. I do like that they gave the women's teams some golds, but most importantly they gave them their own style of golds. Keeps the men's jerseys special. Well done.

She is ridiculous. This year she really has an excellent supporting cast and should be able to totally blow up the scoresheet.
