The original was awful.

Pet Sematary...ummm...
*yawn*
The original was better.
Yes. Honestly, even as a Stephen King fan, the book wasn't his best work, not even close.
I still like The Langoliers film as total camp.
"ScARing the little gIRL?!?!?"
Langoliers was fantastic and awful.
Can I nominate "Christine?"
I would love a remake/reboot of that. It's a great story that didn't really translate well to film at the time, due to the lack of technology. That being said, the movie did the best it could, and I don't mind it.

I watched it yesterday. I had forgotten how dreadful it was. By all means, remake it.
Sometimes, dead is better.
I was watching something the other day and in one scene there's a movie marquee with Bullitt on it
I can remember seeing that! But I can't recall the movie off the top of my head. Some guesses:
The Omega Man
The Godfather
Slap Shot
Diamonds Are Forever
Midnight Cowboy
Might have been The Godfather - it's the only one I've watched within the past week.
I'm not sure the timing is right for any of the Godfather movies. Bullitt was a late '60's movie and I don't think any of the three Godfather movies was set in the late 60's.
iirc the timing was off and Bullitt was not the only movie billed. It might have been a retrospective showing.
However I say this not being more than 30% sure it was in fact The Godfather.
