Anyone who has ever been on a boat knows you need to reduce wake around other boats. It's simple physics. But Trump supporters either A) Don't believe in science or B) Don't give a **** about anyone who isn't them. So it was inevitable.

My god that is beautiful:

This Atlantic story is not going away...even CNN who was hedging their bet has confirmed much of it is true. Literally everyone outside of OANN has and no one not on the Trump teet has come out to defend him really. The Cultist only seem to be able to attack the anonymous sources...which is funny because people then remind them what the "Anon" in Qanon means :-)

I can't think of a better metaphor for the American Right.

Wait. I can.

I see that Red Rose Twitter is trying to start a furor that Buttigieg will be picked for a high-level cabinet position. You really think Biden is gonna skip over a bunch of qualified folks who've paid their dues to give the reins of the State Department to a guy who's not even 40 yet?

Well he is too busy stiffing all the people he paid to try and convince others to vote for him in the Primaries. I have a friend who got conned into that one.

Red Rose Twitter is a nice window into the "Educated But Still Stupid" base in the Progressive Wing.

Buttegeig will get a position in the administration, but there's no way it'll be State.

Even Captain Sully is speaking out against him.

Agreed, but as I've said before I don't want him at VA - that's a dead-end role.

UN Ambo would be good. He's charming & diplomatic, yet combative enough to defend American interests there. The civilized Euro officials (i.e. not Putin simps) will like him.

I've seen Chief of Staff thrown around, but I don't think he's ready to make that much sausage yet.

I'd call Biden's absolute ceiling that plus OH, GA, ME2, and IA = 375 EV. Clinton had 379 in 1996.

I'd put his absolute ceiling at 395. Clinton states + MI, PA, WI, NE-2, AZ, FL, NC, IA, TX, and GA (and ME-1, can't remember if that went for Trump 4 years ago or not). OH is too far gone along with IN.

I certainly doubt TX, GA, NC, or IA switch, but it's possible.

Do you think a decisive Biden win is more likely than a squeaker?

Yes, but only because the baseline right now is a moderately decisive win. The race will shift over the next 2 months, but it could go either way (blowout or nailbiter). Since I don't know which way it'll go or how much, it's still likelier for a decisive Biden win.
