Man Conservative Twitter hates John Roberts. Everything from calls of term limits for justices to Roberts is compromised to blaming Dubya for him being there. I honestly thought it was liberals posting :-)

Gym Jordan is definitely not happy...

edit: Conservative Twitter is now saying Roberts did this because he is part of the Epstein pedo ring. I have no idea if there is any validity to that but man watching the Cons eat their own is the best high ever!

John Roberts sides with the Liberals so now Pennsylvania will count all mail in votes if received within 3 days of Election Day. Conservatives are not pleased. Thoughts and prayers...

edit to add: this made it a 4-4 tie so the lower court ruling stands.

If Democrats *don't* pack the court, they might not win another national election, because Barrett is an easy 5th vote to shut down voting rights

Is she? I know she is a high risk for poison on LGBTQ and abortion issues, but does she have a record on voting rights or presidential power?
 
Even if she is I dont see Roberts (or Gorsuch who I assume Roberts gave cover to on this last decision) overturning a Voters Rights Law if it doesnt run afoul of the Constitution...especially if States Rights are involved.

Like for example let's say a Dem House and Senate pass "Election Day Holiday" what challenge could be made in court that would even have them bring it to the floor? I could see if Congress passed a "Universal Early Voting" them saying that is overreach but I dont see them screwing over the States and their ability to run their elections.

Of the things I am worried about that Court screwing over stuff like this isnt part of it.

No way. She and Alito and Thomas and McRapey will vote for that but that is it.

I dont think a law or a case that was arguing that would make it far enough for them to rule on it to be honest.
