Biden v Dump 1: If not now, when? If not us, who?

My belief is the polls are correct. If the votes were counted accurately, Biden will win an election resembling the George H.W. Bush win in 1988 as far as the electoral college, and as far as the popular vote goes probably bigger. trump won't get the majority of votes cast in more than about 18 states. Now as far as counting those votes..................

I count 23 states where Dump is favored to get a majority:

2WBpd

Even if IQs suddenly shoot up and the bottom falls out, he will still get all of those except OH, IA, and TX, so that is 20.

As far as counting goes, the Nazis control FL, GA, and AZ and will attempt to steal them somehow. They'll want to try in MI and WI, too, but I don't see a way for them to pull it off.

The AZ Secretary of State is a Democrat.

My number should have been "about 20" I guess because I am actually starting to believe he will receive more votes in TX, IA and OH. But there's the darn counting thing. By my look at a map I could really see him winning 29 states (and D.C.) to trump's 21, for an EC haul of 407, somewhere right around the EC votes Bush got back in 1988. Of course even as I say this I am keeping my fingers crossed, lighting candles, sacrificing goats with MAGA hats on them and saying my prayers. I don't have the energy to leave the country.

There's nowhere to go anyway.

Nazis with nukes and ICBMs mean the world is one small town. We have to kill them here, and now.

Barring that, 15% of the Earth is white male. I'm telling you 85% right now... you know what to do. I'd prefer it quick if you can manage it, but I understand.

Someone is trying to find an excuse to duck out of another debate: https://twitter.com/steveholland1/status/1318272135291424769

I called this before the last town hall. He never prepares for debates and the last one was such a disaster PR wise I cant imagine anyone close to him wants to once again show the contrast between him and Biden.

Plus, he thinks he is winning. And the Q crazies think so too. They think early voting is tipping their way.

NBC News Twitter has a count for various states on how many early votes/absentee votes have been requested and turned in already. Kind of cool!

North Carolina: https://twitter.com/NBCNews/status/1318256686801584130

For Iowa: https://sos.iowa.gov/elections/pdf/2020/general/AbsenteeCongressional2020.pdf

Updated around noon every weekday. About 33% of the 2016 total (1.6M votes) is in so far. Probably looking at somewhere between half and 2/3rds being cast absentee/early votes.

I read somewhere recently that compared the senior campaign staff from Trump 2016 to Trump 2020 (I cannot find a link, sorry). In 2016, Trump had a large number of established political operatives and surrogates that had won (and lost) many elections. Veteran campaigners, campaign workers and strategists. 4 years later and he's driven many of them away and is mainly left with yes men and sycophants. Of course he thinks he won that election, because the suck-ups told him so. There's no Steve Bannon or David Bossie or Jeff Sessions or even Chris Christie anymore (Christie largely put off this round, and then sidelined by COVID). Hell, even Kellyanne Conway has been strangely quiet since before she got COVID.

All he has left are the true believers. Their job is to keep the man happy, why should they harsh his high?

My daughter's boyfriend's brother is a Republican consultant in AZ. I don't know him well enough to ask him what he thinks will happen but I would be fascinated to know. Do they think they're falling from a 2000-foot cliff? Do they think it's a heavy lift but still possible? Are they confident all the polling is wrong?
