His last name is actually pronounced Dock-er-tee not Doherty. So Doc fits like a glove.... unless he has a secretive doctorate we don't know about!
Maybe a PhD in netology?

For those who haven't seen - AHA pick'em is back!

The Top Shelf will be participating this year! One of you Falcons fans should cover for me this regular season, as I will miss six weeks over semester break (no internet access in Antarctica), so will be sitting out until the post-season, for which I am reigning champion.
Mar runs a great AHA Pick 'Em thread, year in and year out, and he has attracted some really knowledgeable AHA fan participants.

Good to hear, TTS; I will check out your work on our Wikipedia page.
Mar, we will be doing glacial geology in the Ohio Range in West Antarctica, the most remote nunataks accessible from McMurdo Station. The overarching question is how often does the West Antarctic Ice Sheet collapse, as it contains about 5 meters of sea level equivalent.
I don't know how many of you guys watched the game. But in my humble opinion that disallowed goal was questionable... at best. Huge turning point for the boys and a shame to see such a crucial swing at the hands of a questionable call. But all in all I thought the boys looked good and fought well, especially at the end. Looking forward to some great hockey this year! I think this team has a lot of potential.
Also, solid showing by the AHA in OOC play.
And how about those new jerseys?!
Just looking at the box score, it appears that Bentley kept what may be the top line in Div 1 off the scoreboard when even up?
So, frosh skaters on the top three lines and the top two D pairs. Is Blomquist hurt again?
I'm not sure why Blomquist wasn't playing, but I think Maher filled in pretty well for him.
Yeah it looks like Soder is going to give the young guys a shot, which I kind of like. Who knows, Brett Gensler was recruited to be a grind it out kind of player... maybe we've got another one in the ranks! All it takes is a shot.
Thought Antoni played well enough, but I think Soder has to give the other guys their shots this weekend. It's hard to compare Scared Heart to a Quinnipiac, but we'll see what happens.
We'll be at both games this weekend, looking forward to it!
Looks like there was a good crowd in attendance tonight.
What happened with all of those penalties? I suppose not as bad as the first Sacred Heart game at home last season, but ......
Well the game Friday was chippy and their were some punches thrown near the end. So both teams came out flying and were hitting hard. And the game was chippy the entire time. Sacred Heart was fired up that they took the early lead and you could see some cockiness and arrogance as the game went on. Then Max French got tossed on a VERY questionable call where he got hit into a player behind him and make elbow contact to the players head. And after about half the stoppages at the nets, a little scrum would break out. Then in the last five minutes the refs weren't taking any chances and caking penalties on just about everything. When the game ended, we had 5 guys in the box, and 3 more in the locker room. I'd never seen anything like it.
