Bemidji @ Minnesota - Rodents, Rodents, Everywhere

Re: Bemidji @ Minnesota - Rodents, Rodents, Everywhere

I'm Greeeeeennnn!!!!!:D :D :D :D :D After nearly 3 years in USCHO purgatory, I feel like ALL of the people, in ALL of the Saw movies combined, who found the key to the handcuffs.

I don't know how long this will last, but let me say to all of you out there who are still RED. With this rep thing, once you get past the death threats, dismemberment proposals, vulgar incest comments, lewd hate mail, crash and burn career wishes, immediate castration requests, slow torture strategies and a pocket dictionary worth of general cursing and swear words you probably didn't know existed --- it's not all that bad. Hang in there fellas, if a numbskull like me can go green, anybody can.

By the way, thanks to all of you knuckleheads out there for your support.:) I'm humbled by it. SS, you're the best.

Re: Bemidji @ Minnesota - Rodents, Rodents, Everywhere

Gopher fans aren't prepared for the invasion of Beaver Nation!

Now this post ticks me off. It's time to get a little rough and cocky with the Beavers this weekend. If we can send two guys up the slot with one in front and another guy coming up from behind, there’s really no way the Beavers can stop that. I call it “The Rear Trap”. As long as we don’t bunch up and start bangin’ into each other, getting our sticks tangled up in the slot, it works every…..frickin’...time!

Look…..bottom line? We need to whip the Beavers. Whip ‘em a little, whip ‘em hard, I don’t care. Just whip ‘em and then whip ‘em again! And of course we've got to tie them up in front too. Show 'em who’s boss. Give them NO OPTIONS!! Apply the squeeze play…whatever. We're definitely not going to beat them lying down that's for sure. That's probably the best way to bushwhack them. If their two points are wide open and just hangin’ out….hit ‘em!! Bounce ‘em around a little! And hey, if Beavers start squirming and moving around a lot? Plug up the lanes. Simply as that, no butts about it.

If the guys follow THIS strategy, I guarantee you the Beavers are gonna go down. This is no cock and bull story friends. We’re talkin’ a cock and Beavers story now. B.E.A.V.E.R.S.!!! And make no mistake about it: They….Have….Come….To….PLAY. And play hard too. I’m gettin’ excited just thinkin’ about it.

I think we found Doug Woog a replacement for this series! Eh boys?

Don't get too worked up by most Gopher fans, me included. A large chunk (not all) think you need a prestigous pedigree, ushl experience, a mr hockey title and draft numbers to make a team. Us Northern Minnesota kids like to take a bunch of farm kids, some duct tape, and some attitude to show how far a "Let's Play Hockey" write up 'll getch ya. 7-0-1 is a team not to be overlooked no matter who they played. I haven't seen the beavers so I have no idea how we stack up, just excited to see another interstate club to improve WCHA rivalries.

Are you sure about that? Where I come from, the real farm kids go on the wrestling team, and it's the kids from town that play hockey. Besides, isn't BSU's success really due to it's Canadian recruiting, especially older kids, and not Northern Minnesota kids?

I just hope the following reprimand is issued Monday morning, "Goldy, I think you were a little hard on the Beavers this weekend." :p

Who cares? They're all eligible by NCAA rules...

There are plenty real Gophers fans that don't expect a cakewalk this weekend, but is it really surprising that some fans might? Of those that do most probably haven't seen BSU play and probably consider them the little engine that could. I think BSU will prove then can play and if the Gophers manage more than a mythical 2 points it will be a good showing.

Your just jealous the Gophers can't get the hockey players from Canada, and further more if it makes the Beavers better as a team and lets them compete with teams who get all the NHL Draftees then why should it matter. BSU doesn't get the money that the Gophers do to recruit players, so they make do with what they have and do it very well. Also check who plays Hockey in the NHL, I'm pretty sure there are quite a few players from Canada.

There is no such thing as former Gopher fans, I don't buy it.

Hey, Happy...if posts like this keep up are you going to concentrate your efforts on BSU, rather then the Sioux? This one bit pretty quickly...

Oh, come on, this post is like your little sister or daughter saying she can beat you in PS3. By next year the CHA easy schedule euphoria will wear off, and the being stuck in the bottom half of the WCHA will set in. Until then, let them enjoy my tax dollars buying them a new rink, and having the highest div 1 ranking they will probably ever carry into Mariucci.

What's this have to do with the OP bragging about Northern Minnesota farm kid hockey players?
