Beanpot LXVI: The Tong Wars Resume

bc has been very good, some great looks.. primeau has been excellent thus far for nu.

the adage.. not safe with a 2 goal lead .. very much applies here, with the way the eagles have been generating offense.

nu has to stay calm, play smart to come out of this one.

huskies got work cut out 3rd period.

Re: Beanpot LXVI: The Tong Wars Resume

Odd seeing NU with a good goalie. Sorta reminds me of the Gaudreau-Hayes-Arnold BC team

very impressed with harvard's forecheck. if they win this gm.. will have totally earned it.

if they lose, wont be due lack of working hard. i thought bu would have fairly easy outing.

crimson, very impressive regardless of final score.

Holy light crowd tonight. I know that the opening night is only usually half full for either game, and I was not there for the BC/NU game but man, the place seemed maybe 1/4 full for the BU/Harv game.

Harvard doesn't have any fans so i'd imagine a BC-NU nightcap would have looked a lot better on TV. A good chunk of those fans probably took off.

Ty looking like his dad there. Twisted wrister for the win!!

Re: Beanpot LXVI: The Tong Wars Resume

BU had better hope Krys and Harper are back next Monday because a BU roster without those two and Greenway has no shot against NU.

Edit: Bring in Nick Foles.

I’m doubtful Krys is back. I’m hoping and expecting Harper back for Friday. Otherwise, we could be hoping for Jake Witkowski, Beanpot Hero. Though really, that would be great....local kid, stepping in for injured/missing teammates.

Anyway, I thought maybe they would recognize both Greenway and Donato last night, wishing them well as they leave today for the Olympics.

Re: Beanpot LXVI: The Tong Wars Resume

I think it would be very good for the Beanpot in general if Northeastern and Harvard both break their streaks in back to back years.
