They're going to have to keep a close eye on Megan. He and Chiaison always seem to score when they play BC, especially now that Trivino and Coyle are no longer playing for them. Megan scored 2 on HU last week and seems to be picking up the slack.

Because I specifically mentioned that they've "recently" fallen back to earth after doing quite well in the scoring dept prior to this stretch. You could go back any number of games, but the bottom line is that over the past couple of weeks, BU is not scoring and I think a big part of that is they are really missing Coyle and Trivino, who were both highly skilled and had some size. Lets face it, when you score 1 goal (plus 1 garbage time goal with 5 seconds left) at home vs UMASS, who then gives up 5 goals at home vs PC the next night, you got issues...

Maybe it's just me, but I actually think they're missing the defensemen they've recently loss to injuries more than Trivino and Coyle. Nicastro is far from 100%, playing with an injured shoulder. I feel like they're tiring themselves earlier and that might be what is contributing to the lack of scoring lately.

oh my god!!
denver played alabama after uah got swept by mercyhurst at home and gave up 5 & 4 goals... and LOST 2-3 AT HOME!!!!
duluth got SHUT OUT by tech after tech game up 4-5-4 in their prior three games!! then tech gave up 5 to mankato in the next game!!!!
ALL THESE TEAMS GOT ISSUES!!!!!!

6-2? Come on. I believe BC has won the last three Beanpot matchups...all have been by one goal.
While I'm not worried about Millan, yes, you guys do have an edge in goal. I don't see any edge on defense for you though. The records are similar, but all three games were quite strange. It *should* be the closest, most competitive matchup this season...but who knows.

I agree... What I was trying to say is that IMO, BC has the edge at the forward position, BU has the edge in net, and its a toss up at D... neither team strikes me as having a clear edge on the blue line.

Don't forget we've also got the injuries at the D spot. Nicastro clearly looked under 100% Friday, he couldn't lift his shoulder enough to get a full wind up on his slap shot, he was very clearly forcing it, and the loss of Privitera has also been a gap tough to fill. Ruikka has been a good replacement, but he's lacking offensively, the same with MacGregor. I don't know enough about the BC D to comment who is better, the three games we've played this year have obviously been far more lopsided than the actual difference in talent between the teams.

Confirmation on gametime?
Tickets say 7:30 as does Hockey East Online / BU Website etc... but saw an ad on NESN tonight saying 7:00 and the Comcast DVR Guide saying 8:00....

Honestly it'll probably start around 8pm. It depends on when the 1st game ends, and that one starts at 4:30pm. However, 7:30pm is definitely the "official" game time.
