The SEC teams would now avoid both of these, as they'd have a game under their belts while SEC teams didn't, creating an unfair situation for the SEC team.

I think Boise-Ole Miss is Thursday, so it's 50 today!

51 until MSU takes on Jax State. Hopefully won't be a close one, but everyone around here is excited for the season so it should be a great atmosphere regardless.

Plus, they have to be careful now as they are required to play at least one BCS team out-of-conference. You can only imagine the strains the teams will be put under with such an onerous requirement.

Ohio State at Michigan State is now a night game. High probability it will be the Big Ten East championship.

Got tickets to a couple Gopher football games. I wouldn't have done it, but my wife is an alum and she wanted to go. Pretty decent seats, it seems, in the small sections at the open end of TCF. First game is the non-conference matchup against powerhouse Middle Tennesse State, and the second is against a bunch of inbred cousin-****er methheads from Iowa.

I'm sure we'll be at the Gopher tailgate with all of the regulars, I think WPOS and Viking and crew all will be there. I don't really go to football games, football is better on TV, and rarely get the urge to actually go to the game (the opposite of hockey, actually). The only reason we're going is because the wife is an alum and she wanted to go.

I think you'll enjoy it, even as a neutral observer. There's something about a the atmosphere of an outdoor college day game that just makes it fun. It's kind of like WeFest for me - I'm not a big country fan, but WeFest is a blast.

Let's be clear: if you buy this shirt and approach us, we will autograph it for you, if by "autograph" we mean "write the word TURDCANNON in very large letters wherever we please on." You will have no reason to complain or find this unfair.

Whoever made and whoever approved this shirt belongs in Guantanamo. Scar tossed Mufasa off the ledge for less. I'm so upset right now.
