Maybe bc can hold the sinners to less than 8 goals in a period? Hopefully that is not asking too much.

On a different note, It's got to be disappointing for the sinners that they set the record for goals in a period only to have it broken the next night by the fighting nurses. Usually the sinners get the best cupcakes but it seems like the fighting nurses found a more delicious cupcake...

Well, that was disappointing. Was cool to make the trip up though. Team had a bunch of alums visiting, including some from Back In My Day, so it was nice to see everyone.

But boy, Wisconsin is just relentless. I know we are not in their stratosphere right now, and I suspect they may go undefeated based on some early scores from around the WCHA, but it would have been nice to keep the games closer.

First 8 minutes or so tonight was GREAT. BC probably should have had a lead and definitely went toe to toe for a while. But eventually it was just too much.

Not much to take from this except to acknowledge that we don't belong on the same ice as the WCHA right now and need to take the good bits (and there were some -- Glaser is a burner and should eat in WHEA) into conference play.

It wasn't good. But I don't think we're going to be the only ones Wisconsin does that to this year.

Yesterday, user Reggiedunlap9 had a post here reacting - quite negatively - to the BC-Wisconsin series. And while it was certainly negative with regard to BC performance and some of the players, and of the head coach, it wasn't "out of line", etc. At least not IMO.

But this morning, it's gone.

So I wonder, did he become so disgusted he deleted his account, etc? This version of the BC season thread starts with a post from Grant that refers to comments made by Reggie in last year's BC season thread, so I look to see if Reggie's comments have also disappeared from that thread.

But I can't find that entire season thread, at all!

What's going on here?

robertearle You are correct that TTT and his buddies on this site have deleted all of my comments over the years. I guess you are not allowed to talk about a coaching change at BCWIH or your opinions will be suppressed similar to Facebook. Is that really happening ? Hopefully not and the old thread will magically reappear. Oh well it wont slow me down 1 bit. BCWIH need a new coach and needs a new coach now. Anyone that thinks this is normal and that BC continues to rebuild is an idiot. They look like an average D3 team right now. At best

Yes I was there for both games this weekend and what I saw was a mismatch that was really hard to describe. I guess the best way to describe it would be that the red team had the puck 85% of the time. It really wasn't hockey. The scores were 7-1 and 7-0 but they easily could have been 15-0 if not for the 2 BC goalies. . It was almost a game of keep away. BC has clearly lost its way with recruiting. Do they gave 1 player that would make that Wisconsin team ? #21 ? #14 ? Maybe. Maybe not. How is that possible? Kinger seems more interested in playing her buddies kids than not embarrassing her program against the #1 team in the US.

Wisconsin's 2 best players ( 26 & 4) are both from this area. How and why did they end up at Wisconsin ? Did BC even recruit them ? Is it that bad to come play hockey at BC these days? Does anyone else her besides @tonythetiger think this is normal ? I dont.

Why are BC players not developing ? I am so sick and tired of watching top recruit after top recruit get worse every year ! If I'm a young player at BC right now and I want to play for team USA some day or even in the PWHL some day I need to get the heck out of BC right now ! Why would a good player stay around for this ? This is not a rebuild this is a sinking ship ! This has been going on for 5-6 straight years ! No more talk about a rebuild please. I'm done.

Thank god we have Holy Cross next week. And then Merrimack. I'm sure BC will win those games and TTT will jump back on here and tell us how great his buddy Kinger is doing with the rebuild and that BC is right back on track. Don't fall for the BS folks. The BCWIH situation is a disaster. BCWIH is a national embarrassment. Hockey East is a joke. If another 4th place finish in HE is what you want than fine. Not me. I expect to see BCWIH competing in the NCAA tournament EVERY SINGLE YEAR ! I expect BC to be the DOMINANT team in the east EVERY YEAR. Not Clarkson, Not Northeastern. I'm talking about BOSTON COLLEGE

We need a new coach. This is not personal. Enough is enough


PS. Clarkson is 4-0 and come to BC in a few weeks. Both former BC players now at Clarkson look like they are off to great starts. Could BC have used them this weekend ?? You tell me

I was wondering the same thing...I see reggiedunlap9 posted again this morning before my post and it has much of the same stuff in it. Frankly, he is not wrong about the state of bc's women's hockey program. It has to be very frustrating to be a fan of their program.

Try being a fan of Harvard men's and women's ice hockey. The teams combined for 12 wins last year. The women's program is in shambles after the Katey Stone debacle. We take frustration to a new level.

Skate79 I feel your pain. Its hard to believe Harvard has fallen just as far as BC has. The difference is Harvard is in the middle of an actual rebuild. I think Harvard will improve a lot over the next 2-3 years. The new coach impresses me. She and her staff are everywhere trying to recruit. If not, and Harvard doesn't turn it around then maybe time for a new coach. Just don't become another BCWIH where winning and losing just isn't that important. I know this would never fly with the BC football program or the other hockey program . So why BCWIH ? Where are you Blake James ? Were you lucky enough to watch those 2 games this weekend ? If you were watching were you acting like Cam Neely does watching bad Bruins games throwing a temper tantrum ? I hope you were. I know I was. This needs to stop.

Agree 100% and it's pretty crappy that this his post was censored. It was not vulgar nor insensitive. It's pretty sad that BC has fallen so far off the map.

So since he kept insisting on using an old thread as some kind of weird gotcha instead of just moving the conversation to the new season thread like *literally everyone else on the forum* does, now his stuff is all gone.

Oh well! '\_(ツ)_/'

Anyway, don't think we'll learn much against Holy Cross this week, unless we drop some points... in which case we will definitely have learned something not very good.

Hopefully playing Holy Cross after playing Wisconsin will be like going up to bat after swinging with the donut for a few minutes.

sorry TonyTheTiger20 but the fact that you have the ability to delete my posts to protect your buddy Kinger really ticks me off. I have been on this board for 3 years writing about the change needed at BCWIH and you just delete them ? Why because Kinger asked you to ? Am I being too mean because I want a new coach ? These have never been personal attacks from me and there never will. I only write about BCWIH as a fan which I thought this forum was all about.

Am I the only one on here that is sick of watching this program go backwards ? I don't think so. Sorry but I hope this inspires more BC fans to write on here.

To be clear (again) This is not personal. I dont know Kinger. I hear she is a great person. I am tired of watching this once great program struggle like this. I have been trying to be patient for the last 2-3 years as Tony and others talk about a rebuild. Well guess what ? There was no rebuild. We stink. We just got totally embarrassed in our own building 14-1 to Wisconsin. BCWIH can be better. Much better and everyone knows it. This would have never been allowed to happen if it was the BC Football program. I just don't understand it. Its time for a change. Please

Does the "creator of the thread" have the ability to revive the thread? Because he most certainly should if he can.

Or say, for example, that a third party just spent the last hour pulling reggie's posts from the available 17 of the 26 pages of the thread out of the Wayback Machine and made copies of them; if that third party were to then post those comments in a thread he created, would The Ministry of Truth have "the ability to delete [that] thread"?
