Yep. I suspect Google AdSense came down on USCHO especially hard last year.

Pretty soon writing either Google or AdSense will have to be accomanied with an (R) or there will be a short vacation waiting for you. Just you wait!

Re: Bad Cop, Bad Cop, Whatcha gonna do?

One Texas legislator is concerned with all the video circulating of cops behaving badly. Does he propose more training? Better hiring and review procedures? Or does he propose something completely different?

Perhaps I'm confused, but I don't read that as being illegal to record law enforcement agents while those agents do their jobs, you simply can't interfere with them while they're making their arrests. So if you were standing back from fracas, recording with your phone, then you're well within your rights.

However, I will state that even if I read that correctly, it creates the potential for that slippery slope.

Arresting lowlifes, making sausage and checking for polyps on your colon all need to be done. But that doesn't mean they should be videotaped.

The main reason they want the radius is not for room to do their job, but because they don't want the badge number of the true assailant (or victim in the case of investigation) being documented. I recall watching a video of a protest in Dallas a few months back, can't remember what it was about, but all the cops had their badges hidden in order to try to hide themselves from any accountability. We see this documentation trying to be circumvented all the time, from deleting video files to smashing cameras to "glitching" body cams...

Considering the amount of police brutality that has come to light in the past few years, there is a need to hold public servants accountable in their work.

And who gets to decide what is interference? Under this law, you can put your iPhone on your dash and videotape an officer who pulls you over for a traffic stop and they can arrest you for "interfering" with law enforcement. If you photograph the NYPD killing Eric Garner that can be interference. This law is not designed to make people safer or make police officers' jobs easier - it's to stop people from filming the police when they abuse their authority. Not that that ever happens, as we have seen in this thread.

Chicago recently put in legislation to prohibit filming cops. Not sure if it was overturned under Freedom of the Press, though...

Here's an interesting way some states get around it: determining the number of parties requiring to give "consent". In some states, all parties must give consent, while in others, only one, and in some states, one party with notice that the activity is being recorded and/or monitored.

Re: Bad Cop, Bad Cop, Whatcha gonna do?

Good thing there are no racist cops.

In response to a text asking “Do you celebrate quanza [sic] at your school?” Furminger wrote: “Yeah we burn the cross on the field! Then we celebrate Whitemas.”

“Its [sic] worth every penny to live here [Walnut Creek] away from the savages.”

“Those guys are pretty stupid! Ask some dumb *** questions you would expect from a black rookie! Sorry if they are your buddies!”

“The buffalo soldier was why the Indians Wouldnt [sic] shoot the ni**ers that found for the confederate They [sic] thought they were sacred buffalo and not human.”

“Gunther Furminger was a famous slave auctioneer.”

“My wife has 2 friends over that don’t know each other the cool one says to me get me a drink ni**er not knowing the other is married to one just happened right now LMFAO.”

“White power.”

In response to a text saying “Ni**ers should be spayed,” Furminger wrote “I saw one an hour ago with 4 kids.”

“I am leaving it like it is, painting KKK on the sides and calling it a day!”

“Cross burning lowers blood pressure! I did the test myself!”

In response to a text saying “All ni**ers must ***king hang,” Furminger wrote “Ask my 6 year old what he thinks about Obama.”

In response to a text saying “Just boarded train at Mission/16th,” Furminger wrote “Ok, just watch out for BM’s” [black males].

“I hate to tell you this but my wife friend [sic] is over with their kids and her husband is black! If [sic] is an Attorney but should I be worried?” Furminger’s friend, an SFPD officer, responded: “Get ur pocket gun. Keep it available in case the monkey returns to his roots. Its [sic] not against the law to put an animal down.” Furminger responded, “Well said!”

In response to a text from another SFPD officer regarding the promotion of a black officer to sergeant, Furminger wrote: “***kin ni**er.”

Re: Bad Cop, Bad Cop, Whatcha gonna do?

The best part is these morons put this crap down in texts and emails, in the case of Ferguson they even used their official emails and often sent them to the courts!

Maybe their job is "so tough" because they dont have the brain capacity to do them.

Or because they've been pacified by all the cop dramas we've seen in the last few decades that they believe once the magic basge goes on, they can do absolutely anything they want.

Re: Bad Cop, Bad Cop, Whatcha gonna do?

That's right folks. Yesterday it was Twitter, and now it's TV that is part of the NWO conspiracy.

I think logic follows that USCHO must also be involved somehow.
