What I don't understand is why aren't talking about the rate of violent crime in Old Person culture. Old Person on Old Person violence rarely gets any coverage from the bleeding heart media.

I'm sure they'll internally investigate the victim (remember, the cops always think they're the victim) and find nothing wrong was done.

Two NYPD officers in critical condition with head wounds. Shot by perp who attacked them as they sat in their vehicle. They probably deserved it.

This is an abominable act. And the evil it embodies exceeds the limits of our callow discussions of "bad" cops. Tragically, Commissioner Bratton referred to today's assassinations as the seventh in his career. Much more will be learned of the shooter and why he attempted a murder in Baltimore this morning then wound up in Brooklyn assassinating two police officers this afternoon. Perhaps we should once again review the lesson: actions have consequences, words have meanings.
