I disagree. Only certain actions and consequences, by people of a certain race and occupation, were considered when this thread was started.

Point is that cops are in a dangerous profession, and these "bad cop"/protest stories are caused by a vast minority of "bad" cops. I'm tired of this "evil cop" mentality that is the cause of the day. It's farking bullsheet. People should be supporting the forces, not protesting them, because of cases exactly like this.

Agreed. And illegal protests won't either. I am admittedly really wound up on people breaking the law, who are protesting a vast minority of cops that are over-aggressive. How about stop committing crimes in the first place? Just saying.

There are bad cops. It happens. However, these stupid *ing protesters would totally flip sides if they were victims of a crime, etc. The majority of cops are pretty freakin' good. And now, we have cops executed, and I bet there won't be protests about that, and it makes me wanna vomit. The stupidity of the general public makes me weep for society.

There won't be protests because we don't have a systemic problem whereby citizens aren't being held accountable when they kill cops.

I wonder about the media coverage, and the "outrage" and there will be minimal. When the NYC cops shun the mayor...there's a problem on that other side of the coin. And it's basically (relatively) being ignored. Disgusts me.

Why am I watching a Christmas special on ABC when we should be watching live coverage of this senseless act.
Are the police officers of New York and surrounding areas rioting in the streets and burning the town to the ground?
Has Obama called?
Will there be representatives from Washington at their funerals?

I am sick and tired of watching our officers putting themselves in danger every day to protect the ungrateful, yet they are treated as public enemy #1. It is time we stand up and support our Emergency Services Family! If we don't do it no one will. We must stop standing quietly on the sidelines with our mouths shut for fear of not being considered politically correct. Get out there and support our law enforcement, don't hold your tongue. Stand up for the people that face the fear that most people could never imagine.
Stop being complacent!

Come on, do you think there is chance one that the jerkoff who did this wont get his punishment in the end? (and boy should they...I only support the death penalty in the case of killing cops) The people protesting are doing so because people arent receiving the same justice because the bad cops (the vast minority) are getting away with doing much the same thing.

You like to mention "flip sides" how about this: not one person is defending what the murderers did and all of us want the scum to rot. But no matter the facts in the cases when cops kill perps there are plenty justifying the actions even when facts dont back up the use of deadly force. Hell learned people in the media are saying a fat dude deserves to get choked out cause he is bigger...think about that for a second. (especially in context of some of the people you know)

Killing is wrong and we should condemn it no matter who is doing it.

Killing is wrong. However, people are condemning an entire profession due to a couple bad apples, which percentage-wise...follow the odds of that.

Again, I ask, how would these people feel about the cops if they were victimized? I bet they'd change their tune awfully fast. And many of these people are breaking the law in protests. I'm all for speaking your mind, but follow the Goddamm law. And now this killing cops thing comes out? F 'em. F 'em all.

Or you lead a protest to get the change you want, like the founding fathers did with the revolution. Or should they have just followed all of the laws set by parliament?

Guy already killed himself. Apparently he (tried to?) off his girlfriend this morning and then tweeted that he was going to "give pigs wings" this afternoon.
