Here is the story of this 10-day battle. It included wide use of flamethrowers and mustard gas.

The tweets on that one have been very Keplerian

Lots of guillotines followed by “kill the rich” which is almost universally answered with “ eat the rich”

Honestly, if I were rich. I’d be very nervous about the next 20-30 years.

I watched that and laughed. Then my girlfriend asked what was so funny.

I told her, you get to choose whether to find out based only on “I give you the epitome...” because that’s all I got.

She thought it was funny. And then I showed it in video reverse and then all of a sudden it was disgusting.

I laughed again.

budapest only has wagner showing one time while mookie is there, and it's sold out. which may be a blessing in disguise :D

in prague will see both national theatre and theatre of the estates (figaro and bello in maschera).
vienna state opera is sold out (will have to tour). seeing traviata in volksopera

National theatre in Prague is a neat venue. Three levels atop the ground floor and low capacity... sound is great and the tightness probably means not a bad view. We were center 2nd balcony first row for around $17 (things here are incredibly priced :p. Good place to visit)

Caught figaro at the estate theatre tonight. Plaque out front staying don giovanni debuted there in 1787. Kinda neat to think Mozart himself was in the building. :)

Took in the Rothko exhibit here. Pretty cool representation over 20+ yrs.

In the Vienna Opera House there is an exhibit with one of his pianos. It's tiny.

There were early pa8nting of figures. A self portrait and others. Interesting.
THEN the example keep shared.

Again, a good representation of his work from late 40s to early 70s

Someday I'm going to binge watch The Shock of the New and try really hard to understand.

But right now, no; just... no.

Mookie has dates for Cantonese opera at Kowloon cultural center AND yau ma tei theatre (highlight) this weekend.

I was involved in the theater at Muskegon Community College. I miss it. Got me talking and got me confident to speak on stage.

I also miss going to plays and stuff.
