As someone who was once forced to a project at ups airlines, here’s another fun fact- a lot of the people that work there are obese, chain smoking Oompa Loompas who absolutely destroy public toilets all day long.

I hate the city and the state
That tracks. What project was it?

Well Asheville has new age crystal shops and rich snowbirds from the East Coast, Huntsville has 75 PhD rocket engineers trying not to get lynched by the locals who think the observatory is witchcraft, and Nashville has black minimum wage hotel laborers and pools of vomit from pasty Rust Belt tourists, but other than that aren't they all just crossroads herp towns where more residents have propane tanks than town gas?

Indianapolis without that one good steakhouse?

Places flyovers call "flyover"?

I've also heard that nearly every tourist in Nashville bars and clubs nowadays is a Yellowstone cos-player.

Sad that the pronouns on his LinkedIn made him do it...

I love the consistency of their logic. "We believe that wanting to transition genders is a mental problem and it makes people commit these mass shootings (nevermind it's 3 out of the last 2500). So this guy who biologically born male and still identifies as male clearly suffers from that same disorder and that's what made him do the shooting."

And they also always vote to cut funding for any type of mental health care so... Screw these people in the fact that they're mentally ill but we're not going to do anything about thim but we'll let them have guns... all the guns they want

54%-46% is “barely”? I mean, who cares if the amendment failed by one vote? It failed. In a super red state, Kentuckians kept their Democratic governor in charge.

No I said he is barely a Democrat...we can discuss why another time.

Nash met council votes 36-0 to send expelled Justin jones back to TN general assembly
Reminds me of a group of guys who got “fired” by a particular supervisor and inevitably came back two days later after the union intervened.

Does Rep Jones have a shop steward he can walk back in with?

How many bodies Republicans? How many?

Take the ****ing guns away.

Not enough bodies. Or maybe not the RIGHT bodies. That's why the republicans want this.

I hope no one is under any illusions that they are just as horrified as those among us who are actually civilized. Because they are not. They want this slaughter to continue. It keeps many of us in fear. It keeps gun sales through the roof. They are gleeful when people of good will and common sense are actually begging for something to get done, because as long as there are just enough republicans left in offices, not enough will get done. Waiting for, or hoping for enough republicans to finally come around on this is just like all the waiting we have done for years now for the final nail in trump's coffin. How many people have died -- literally needlessly -- as we wait? Thousands. Tens of thousands actually.

40% of the people in this country are lost. And they're probably having more kids than the rest of us. How many children are the result of most of the posters here? Enough to replace us? Doubtful. Some years ago I read of a mostly rural county in Idaho as having the highest number of births relative to its county population. Are those kids being raised up to think guns are dangerous and should be heavily regulated or does mommy and daddy put them in their crib at night with an AR-15 next to the teddy bear?
