Yes, he did, over the extreme complaint of the GQP, and at best it was tepid changes. That Congress had a number of major accomplishments, despite the brick-wall-resistance, and I don't know that I'd consider this part of it.

Didn't Biden sign into law, gun control legislation last summer? I'm pretty sure he did. Minnesota will likely pass something this term, and I'm sure Walz will sign it.

Gun control legislation is getting passed in various locations all the time. None of it is as dramatic as banning private ownership of guns or anything, but in each case the legislators claim (and I assume, believe) that legislation will save lives.

Furthermore, how do we know that it hasn't saved lives?

Lol, what? Yes, Biden signed gun legislation. Yes, of course it’s saved lives. Just like other blue state governors/legislatures passing gun laws that will save lives, and have saved lives, like California, or Massachusetts. No, not as many lives saved as the dramatic move of banning private gun ownership. Not even close, obviously. But, progress nonetheless.
Your argument before was you didn’t think there was much of a difference between California and Massachusetts’ levels of gun violence/deaths versus Texas, or Louisiana. Again, you mocked California and their stricter gun laws in the wake of one of their mass shootings a while back. You even pondered aloud how much gun legislation was getting passed by blue state legislatures/governors. Is that not your argument anymore? Have Democrats in those states, and Joe Biden, done a good job, in your mind, of not backslapping each other to where it pis-es you off to where
you don’t recognize the progress made? You’re always on the side of “nothing is better than something, especially because of backslapping.” Yet, you’re now pondering how do we know that those gun laws, inadequate as they may be, haven’t saved lives? Of course they have. Do I want more passed as a Democrat? Of course I do.
I might need to get some nacho cheese to eat with the pretzel you’ve made of yourself.

So teachers at the Christian school in Nashville were armed.

I guess they just didn’t pray hard enough to satisfy Jesus. Or else good guys with guns would have won

If Republicans would have done their jobs, Colorado's red flag laws would have been enforced, and the Club Q shooter most likely never gets a gun.

Louisville, Nashville, Huntsville, Asheville, Evansville, Clarksville, and Knoxville aren't different places. I don't believe it.

Any Black Legislators in Kentucky better watch out they are about to be expelled.

Nah. Besides, they’re not even in session anymore, and Kentuckians voted last November to keep the power of calling special sessions solely with the Governor, who is a Democrat.

Depends on what you mean by different.

Well Asheville has new age crystal shops and rich snowbirds from the East Coast, Huntsville has 75 PhD rocket engineers trying not to get lynched by the locals who think the observatory is witchcraft, and Nashville has black minimum wage hotel laborers and pools of vomit from pasty Rust Belt tourists, but other than that aren't they all just crossroads herp towns where more residents have propane tanks than town gas?

Indianapolis without that one good steakhouse?

Places flyovers call "flyover"?
