Annoying Commercials 2: Searching for the MUTE button

Seems like there were more than 51? Some of note to me:

Horrible: Avacado, E*Trade, Draftkings, Remy, He Gets Us, Squarespace, Downy McBride, Jeep, Pizza Hut, H&R Block, Meta, Booking.com, T-Mobile (Grease)

Ranging between "I did not hate" to good: Dunkin, T-Mobile (B Cooper), Pepsi Zero (Stiller), Mich Ultra, Google Pixel, Rakuten, TurboTax, Uber One, Hellman's, Pringles, Heineken, Doritos, elf, Crowdstrike, Kia, Planters, workday

Better than good but not excellent: Farmer's Dog, PopCorners, Bud Light, Crown Royal, Amazon, Ram

In all honesty I'm not sure I'll remember any of them.

Fair. After seeing the admeter I just assumed the first reaction on here was more widespread. Most of the comments I saw on avocado were good. I guess I stand corrected :-)

Good lord, I accidentally stumbled upon the men’s rights subreddit on Reddit.

they are big mad about the truck commercial during Super Bowl. Along with moms being honored and revered in the commercials but not dads.

to be fair, they’re mad about a lot. They want women to have sex with them, but women who do have sex are whores with a body count.

one of the most pathetic things I’ve ever seen

Your annual reminder that if you don't buy your significant other a $70,000 car with a big red bow it means you don't love them.

My wife and I have both agreed that we would both be extremely upset with the other if either of us ever did that. Colossally stupid.

The Epoch Times is putting billboards up with "#1 Trusted Website" as the slogan in the Kent County area.

Ewwww.

On a related note, I'm happy we're almost through Shen Yun season.

Didn't even know it had a proper "season“. The way they put those posters and billboards up every year, I feel like it never ends.

What Xi does to Falun Gong followers is cruel and awful, but I am somewhat sympathetic to Beijing calling them a cult (ironically, of course), and I consider them something that could easily metastasize into a fundie terror group.

I keep hearing this ad for Einstein AI by Salesforce. They have a “celebrity spokesman” named Johan Schmiegel who has the world’s highest IQ of 247. Well, if you go search to see what he does and it turns out he doesn’t exist.

It’s just a software ad, but there are so many unknown people with amazing accomplishments they could’ve given a small spot to and instead they create a German mascot that they play off as real.

Today is the biggest day in the advertising racket. The GDP of several small countries will be spent putting advertisements on the air.

It is already paying off. Kawasaki partnered with Great Clips with an offer of a free haircut. The ad hasn't even aired on TV yet but the freebies are already claimed. If you try to get one after the commercial airs you'll get a coupon for $2 instead.

I am a judge for the USA Today Ad Meter and have seen about half the ads so far. Nothing earth-shattering but I did find usual suspects Doritos and Budweiser pretty good and e*trade is once again using babies to up the cute factor. The BMW ad was funny provided you like Christopher Walken. As expected, some of the commercials are dreadful.
