Not a great weekend for DU with both ND and CC sweeping!! Who would of thought CC would be on top of the standings having a great first half of the season? While we pre season favorites are licking our wounds and scratching our heads? This is maddening :mad: :mad: :mad: . Meanwhile, we're all afraid of starting Murray who was a highly recruited goaltender. Chevrie will be back, but will he be the same? Murray probably has zero confidence right now and he is our future:eek: I'm not feeling optimistic about any of this especially going into the ND series with them on fire!! I need a Prozac the size of a hockey puck!! Anybody out there have any encouraging words?

Dmann, Not sure what you saw but UND split with SCSU. They are far from on fire, as the PP is lost without Genoway. He's their best player by a mile, and his absence really showed last night. They are pretty tight-lipped about his injury, only saying he's out indefinitely. I would not be surprised to see a convincing DU sweep, with UND left wondering how to recover its season.

after further review, that's almost not a hip-check -- it's borderline slew-foot. weircioch's move to his left at the last second leaves his right leg incredibly vulnerable.

Looks like other hits that have been called similarly over the years, so I will defer to the on-ice officials that their call seems appropriate.

DTP also states that it could appear that there was knee-to-knee contact, for what that's worth... (or, he says that someone could argue that in one frame it appears knee-to-knee, but the other frames prove otherwise, even though he just rewinds basically the same frame.)

You're right. His name is Pepe Le Peu. And his return to the lineup last night didn't seem to affect the outcome much, despite a week's worth of whining.

Respect is a two way street. See the dozen or so posts from Suze to get my point.

I agree. Respect is a two way street and until you learn that, you are just being a *****. Calling a player by some stupid name is only disrespecting him. The posts from Suze in no way justifies the Pepe bull****. Again, his return last night has nothing to do with your immature name calling. (Yes I did call you a ***** but that was warranted).

Actually, dear, I'm disrespecting YOU. Nobody on the DU thread requires any lectures from you or that other babe about respect. Nobody has called Pepe a liar, repeatedly. That's what your frostbitten sister did, and she's not withdrawn it nor apologized for it. Until she does, IMHO, all of you Nanook of the North crybabies can just pound sand, assuming you can find any.
