Yale kocked off their perch in the INCH Power Rankings as they drop to #2. BC moves up to #1 and DU moves up 2 spots to #3 followed by UND and UMD at #4 and #5.

DU remains tied for #2 in PWR with UND with Yale still at #1 and UMD at #4 and BC at #5.
Pairwise
Obviously there's still a lot of hockey left to go, but 3 WCHA schools as 1 seeds as the tourney stands right now is pretty impressive.
– I talked to DU coach George Gwozdecky today. He confirmed that freshman recruited walk-on forward Justin Jones left the team last week to rejoin his junior squad in Texas. Jones never played at DU after overcoming academic requirement issues in his first couple months with the team. I never met the kid, the son of former NBA player Popeye Jones, but his departure and seemingly unhappy experience at DU can’t bode well for the program’s hopes of signing his brother, Seth, the 6-foot-4 defenseman for the U.S. under-17 team. One of my local sources says Seth Jones will go the major-junior route, so it probably doesn’t matter.
Rock just scored, MVP??
Bump-ty-bump. Arctic chill in Denver. Schools all closed. No classes at DU today most likely tomorrow also. The boys can focus on prepping for frying some Tiger.
Did George have a press conference today?
