Vizoroo,
Did you see the comments on the RPI PtC thread that there are rumors form multiple sources that Troy York is leaving RPIand that there are two games. The latter is not a rumor.

First, watch Monty's post game video after Saturday's game on LetsGoDU
Second, Read Magness Mayhem

Not the type of news you like to read. But it made me wonder about how much the Pios lost with 9 seniors only one of whom, Will Butcher, was a real star, an elite player. The other 8 ( plus Butcher) brought the strength of character, commitment, and leadership that seems to be lacking today.
To be fair, this team has only 4 seniors to carry the message. The Captain, Tariq Hammond, missed the first part of the season and is still working to regain form. Adam Plant, Alternate Captain, had to take on the top D role vacated by Butcher, not easy skates to fill. Now Plant is still working through injury aftereffects. Rudy Junda only had 12 career games prior to this year. And Tanner Jaillet is manning the goal, but without last year's shutdown defense. The time has come for team leaders to step it up. Team first, commitment, hard to play against, Denver Hockey the right way.
On a lighter note, 7 of the 9 graduating seniors are playing professional hockey:
Greg Ogard is an Investment Banking Analyst for Citi
- Butcher in the NHL
- Ritt in France(finished 10th nationally in faceoff wins)
- VanVoorhiis in Norway (Fearless=my personal fave)
- Marcinew in ECHL (finished 3rd nationally in faceoffs won)
- Romig in ECHL for Colorado Eagles (Sam Brittain is there too)
- Evan Janssen in ECHL (Monty trusted to play in any situation)
- Cowley in ECHL (had better numbers than Jaillet last year, but in far fewer games)
Brad Hawkinson is living on Oahu
