I think SLU/Clarkson is perhaps the strongest possibility for such a proposal. I'd strongly consider attending that series, in Houghton and in Canton/Potsdam the previous/following year.

CMX->ORD->ALB->MSS. Urf. Although we did travel to Canton a few years ago.

Cornell/Colgate is another possibility.

I have a request in to ASN to get a full list of networks carrying the game but I already know that it will be on:
MASN (Mid-Atlantic Sports Network) available in Baltimore/DC area as well as on sports package of DirecTV and Dish Network nationally, in HD.
WUCW 23.3 (3rd digital channel of CW in Minneapolis/St Paul (normally called Grit TV), not sure this will be in HD or not, guessing not.
Altitude 2 in greater Denver Area but not live, thats tape delay in the middle of the night.

MTU @ LSSU will be airing on Comcast Sportsnet Chicago.

Nice, I had been unable to get all that info from them directly, even plugging in chicago area zip codes last night it didn't mention the game on CSN Chicago. It wasn't even in my guide last night, thanks for breaking their site for me.

Re: 95th Season of Hockey- Michigan Tech Huskies 2015-2016 - Thread #1

For the record, ALL Sinclair Broadcast Group owned stations are part of the American Sports Network.
Sinclair owned stations in Michigan and Wisconsin that are NOT broadcasting this game:

WLUC - Marquette
WEYI - Flint/Saginaw
WBSF - Flint/Saginaw
WSMH - Flint/Saginaw
WPBN - Traverse City/Cadillac/Cheboygan/Sault Ste. Marie
WTOM - Traverse City/Cadillac/Cheboygan/Sault Ste. Marie
WGTU - Traverse City/Cadillac/Cheboygan/Sault Ste. Marie
WGTQ - Traverse City/Cadillac/Cheboygan/Sault Ste. Marie

WLUK - Green Bay/Appleton/Kaukauna/Menasha/Neenah
WCWF - Green Bay/Appleton/Kaukauna/Menasha/Neenah
WMSN - Madison
WVTV - Milwaukee
WCGV - Milwaukee

If you live in those markets, do not receive MASN/NESN+/CSNChicago AND have received ASN programming from those stations in the past, I'd be calling those stations asking why they're not broadcasting this game.

When ASN broadcast UAF-UAH, folks here got the game put on one of the secondary HD tuners for our CBS affiliate. It can happen.

I'd just drive it. I have NEXUS, so I can easily cut through Ontario and be there in under 8 hours one-way.

aparch, thanks for all of that. Would you like your real name credited in the THG article or just "USCHO poster aparch"?

Re: 95th Season of Hockey- Michigan Tech Huskies 2015-2016 - Thread #1

I was told during Scott's intro Milbury says "moving right along...moving right along...". What a joke.
There is another clip of Milbury which must have been from a game leading up to ASG weekend where he goes over the rosters for each conference. Scott is shown between Burns and someone else on the screen and Milbury says something like "And the you have the Donut Line with Burns and [???] with nothing (Scott) in the middle..."

The ironic part of that statement is the Milbury is always at the middle seat during NBC broadcasts...
A big nothing in the middle there as well.

Just one thing to append to this - WLUC was part of a just completed swap deal, and as of Feb 1 is now owned by Gray Media. They did plan on picking up the ASN telecast had they retained Sinclair ownership, but since they are now in a different station family that won't happen. WSMH 66.2 has been airing any ASN games involving Michigan schools (they had WMU-North Dakota on last weekend) so I'd expect they would air this one as well.

Thanks, it other news, looks like you were wrong about the Huskies not being able to wear the cream jerseys in WCHA play huh?

I've never liked him. He's Don Cherry without the charisma. He's the same loser that beat a fan with a shoe after going Ron Artest and climbing over the glass. He has no room to criticize Scott- who limits his beatings to willing combatants and guys named Phil Kessel.

Re: 95th Season of Hockey- Michigan Tech Huskies 2015-2016 - Thread #1

I see Denver just got verbal commits on two guys. One 15 years old and one 16. Both from the BCHL.

lucky for Denver, Michigan Tech honors the gentleman's agreement, otherwise they'd probably flip their commitment in a few years when they're old enough to understand their decisions ;)

When asked who he'd cast as himself in the hollywood movie, John Scott responded, "probably Mike Milbury" later on he said Mike would probably have to lose some weight before that could happen. TV Gold!
