When asked who he'd cast as himself in the hollywood movie, John Scott responded, "probably Mike Milbury" later on he said Mike would probably have to lose some weight before that could happen. TV Gold!

Love that interview, nice shot at Milbury for sure, and let's be honest, if Milbury wants to get into a war of words with Scott we know who will win, Milbury is a brainless clown, Scott obviously has a brain, Milbury stands no chance.

Thanks, it other news, looks like you were wrong about the Huskies not being able to wear the cream jerseys in WCHA play huh?

Just when you think you have this league figured out, something like this happens. I give up trying to figure out the front office.

Just one thing to append to this - WLUC was part of a just completed swap deal, and as of Feb 1 is now owned by Gray Media. They did plan on picking up the ASN telecast had they retained Sinclair ownership, but since they are now in a different station family that won't happen. WSMH 66.2 has been airing any ASN games involving Michigan schools (they had WMU-North Dakota on last weekend) so I'd expect they would air this one as well.

Just heard that the swap deal has been delayed that they are still considering to air the event.

I can confirm that the swap has not yet happened. WLUC management expects it to be completed by the end of the week, but off the record they confirmed that they may just air the game anyway. It won't be promoted so might end up just being tweeted out 15 minutes before game time that they're doing it. I'll be in conversation through the rest of the week so any updates will be passed along.

so would it be appropriate to for me to change the table to list WLUC and qualify it as "unconfirmed"

Thanks for the reminder, I need to watch that game, or at least record it and watch later.

Going to be crowded in the JMSIA this weekend. Went on the BuyHuskiesTickets.com site to look at what's available - there are two single seats on the student side available for Friday night, and just one for Saturday. The townie side is completely sold out for both games.

If you're planning on going, I hope you have your tickets already. I don't remember any people scalping Tech hockey tickets, but this may be the weekend to do it if ever.

I have two tickets together for each night but my plans changed so we will not be making the trip. They are available if anyone is interested.

Winter Carnival is kinda homecoming for Tech, so in that light here is some old school Tech alum hockey. Eventually you'll see #11 Pat Mikesch having a few words with fans in Detroit after they offer a Bud shower to the Solar Bears' head coach. The fan decides to really make it personal with Mikesch at 3:07 of the video. I believe he was "defending the honour of Charlestown at the time...."
