I can understand maybe trying to get data on usage and increasing quality at a specific university and seeing if it shows increased value maybe?
But I feel like this is a chicken/egg debate. If we provide a better product more people should come and waiting does nothing but scare away potential customers...especially with all the problems they've had the last 3 years.

See, that would mean that they're thinking about this as a business, and I'm not really sure that they are. I can say for sure that UAH isn't — they don't even sell ads during media timeouts!

I'm sure part of the problem is most of the WCHA member schools are in survival mode. There needs to be leadership from someone to improve things looking forward. To be fair to many of the NCHC schools, this is probably part of the reason they left...not that I really include MTU or MSUM in the group that would be in survival mode. Can't really include BSU in that either since I'm pretty sure they're the only ones that get all their home games on broadcast TV (or any TV)

I wonder how many tickets for crap games against CC, Miami, WMU, etc we'll have to buy as part of the "Icebreaker Package"...

No kidding, although you forgot UMD in there too.

It looks like there are only a handful of seats for the winter carnival series against Lake State. I wouldn't doubt if both games sell out a few days in advance.

17yo dman Colin Swoyer has committed to MTU. He currently plays for the Chicago Fury and will likely be in USHL next year.

I wouldn't say most, but I would say half.

Hobey Baker voting has started, Alex Petan and Jamie Phillips are finalists
I'd say we focus on Alex Petan since goalies have their own award now, maybe Phillips will end up a finalist for both...

A couple of things.
I've been watching a fair bit of hockey from outside our conference. I'd say, whoever goes from our conference has to be better than they are right now. Specifically us. We are better than we were, we've made big strides, but to compete successfully, we have to cut down the turnovers, we have to do better on the chances we have, we have to kill penalties better and we have to have a better pp.

Second.

So unless something changes, it looks like TechHockeyGuide.com will be waiting until the start of the 2016-17 season to relaunch. If you're interested in helping out with writing anything from taking care of a revamped weekly web media poll, to writing about alumni, series previews, weekend in review or anything new you'd like to think of...please check out techhockeyguide.com to volunteer or contact me through this website.

Thanks

It was pretty good, disappointed I could listen on my siriusXM app, for whatever reason there were no archived episodes of Dan Le Batard Show...
