Why play the games? Local newspaper says Merrimack is 4-2 against Maine the last two years. Even though I could have sworn that's 4-2 in Maine's favor. They're just gonna award the games to Merrimack by rewriting history anyways.

If all of Ben Murphy's family attended they would need the entire allotment of Maine tix. Many live in the No. Andover area.

His family runs a 25+ team org out of Merrimack called the Middlesex Islanders. All practices, games etc held there.

Old Maine players, Bruce Major, Rob Beers, Ben etc are involved and coach teams. I am sure MD loves seeing maine colors on the ice 3/4 hours a day there..

Maine 2-1 vs MC
Maine outscored MC 12-8
Maine is unbeaten in their last 7 games. MC backed their way into the playoffs and managed to lose the season series to PC.
Cannata is dreadful right now.
MC did manage to rack up 190 penalty Minutes in 4 games

With SD, akicking, without, avg

Have said all along, last 4 or 5 are meaningless, lock up home ice, get SD healthy and start your new season

JC might have had a rough few games but far superior to a rough season by ME goalies. Bounces back as good as anyone. MC must simply get puck on net and good things will happen.

MC in 2 easy games.

ME had 162 p minutes in last 4. Choked vs U Mass, d was exposed again. Goalie fell down

yes he had a TREMENDOUS bounce back game vs maine Saturday night...what he give up like 5 goals in 2 periods? Man that's good

You should send this to the selection committee on Sunday night after Maine's season ends. Maybe they will reconsider their field and put Maine in ahead of Merrimack based on these meaningful accomplishments.

Of course, you could put an asterisk next to a few of those accomplishments (you Maine fans should be familiar with that from the Walsh era)

That wasn't my point dumb chit. I'm saying as of right now Maine is playing better coming into this series and won the season series.

Gee, you're not very sharp, are you?

I know it wasn't your point. My point (other than that Walsh was a cheater) was that what you posted means absolutely nothing once the puck is dropped tonight and some of the results might have happened because they were played in certain buildings that are now done hosting home games for the year or certain players might have been missing from the games. Regardless of who wins this weekend, it won't be because one team is hot and one team is not but because one team outplayed the other.

4-3 Friday, 3-2 Saturday.

I do know the Germans didnt actually bomb Pearl Harbor, but the Swedes did overrun France in WW II

Merrimack in 2..... GM1 Merrimack 5 Maine 2 GM2 Merrimack 3 Maine 2...... anyone who thinks maine will sweep is just silly, no team has swept merrimack at home in 2 years. We'll see the merrimack team we saw the entire year not the one that played 2 weeks without one of the best players in the country 3 away games which yes they lost but the one home game they had him they win 6-1, its not a coincidence fellas. i expect to see the teams as they were consistantly all season, merrimack a dominant home team with great goaltending and the all around better team, maine great forwards a good pp but weak D and crappy goaltending.
