MC will win in 2.

The only goalies who suck plays in Orono. Worst goalies in the conference and that is the reason Maine has all those frustrating losses.

MC will win 2 straight and do so easily. MC will be here next week discussing the garden trip etc, Maine will be ripping Whitehead and wanting him to be fired.

Maine has no chance now that SD is healthy. No goalie bounces back better than JC, that is one of his many strengths.

5-2, 4-1

MC get the puck on net, very, very good things will happen.

Goaltending and coaching. (and home ice) MC has it. Maine doesn't. Wouldn't be shocked to see anything happen in this series but if I were putting money on this one (insert dumb BC gambling joke here) I'd be putting it on MC.

Anything said with as much conviction as this is almost always unequivocable bullchit. Fact of the matter is, you nor anyone else has any idea how this series plays out, so why not exhibit a bit of intelligence, do us all a favor and shut da phk up, eh?

If not, they could lose out on an at large bid. SD will take over the series. If you saw MC vs PC, the 2 games were night and day. Pc gave the same effort in both but when SD is there, MC plays with more confidence and poise. He brings eevryone along wih him, thus the difference in the home MC/ME games and away ones.

Nothing Maine can do about it as the elite players dictate the pace. SD is exactly that..

MC in a sweep, on to the Garden

Hopefully TW steps back and lets the boys loose.................so they play emotional hockey and leave it all on the ice, having some fun............and not overthinking too much......

right... and Orono sits right next to Veazie, a town with
-- an unacredited HS (yes, unacredited, meaning you cannot go to college with a diploma from there),
--more third generation, unemployed , NON ENGLISH Speakers than any town in the state
--a crook of a mayor, who also does not speak English, who collects 2 state paychecks...
--is the reason that car insurance rates are so high in Orono(because you are almost garunteed to get your car stolen at least once if you park in Veazie)
--is a complete welfare suck on the rest of the state and supplies NOTHING
and...I can go on... but then I realize that I am not thinking of Orono-Veazie, I am thinking of Andover/North Andover and their border town

on the upside, if you like real, authentic Mexican food, try Cafe Azteca in Lawrence while you are down for the weekend... but lock your car.

MCs coach has turned in to Jerry in one season? I realize Timmay is the butt of all jokes(rightfully so probably) but Dennehy is now a savior? I'll give ya goaltending, Maine is lacking for sure yet Sully hasn't gotten yanked 3 out of his last 4

Also Maine won as many Hockey East playoff games last year as Merrimack has played under Dennehy. If expetience counts the edge to Dennehy and Merrimack is nkt as decisive as its being made out.

speaking of goaltending...

Sully: 10-5-2, 61.8% WP, 2.37GAA, .901SP, 3SO
Cannata: 22-8-4, 70.6%WP, 2.41GAA, .913SP, 1SO

fwiw, the only other distinguishing stat is that cannata played 900 more minutes... that said, cannata and sully are ranked 23rd & 24th nationally...

i think cannata is the better of the two just like most people, but by the numbers, it's closer than it would seem...
