IMO, BC has an easy bracket, but I'm going with the seedings that are on the board, and THAT says they are underdogs.

Unless you expect to be one and done again, since you're a #4 seed. ;)

Female Gopher fan I know e-mailed me her bracket yesterday. She has St. Cloud losing to UNION in the National semifinal. She hates BC that much. :p

Even if this season is a one-and-done for you guys, I think you have to be happy and take it as a successful year. You won a share of the Mac Cup and your team played everyone (in the conference) at least hard just about every game.

I don't feel that way. It was 'Frozen Four or Bust' for me before the season started. Playing every team hard might be an accomplishment for Penn State this year, not for a team with the talent we had returning this year.

I don't exactly trust you, someone who underestimated this team at every turn, to judge what this team was capable of this year.

I really couldn't give two ****s if you trust me. I'm surprised that SCSU had as good of a season as they did. They had the talent and they played up to their potential for the most part. I didn't think they would, even up to a month or so ago. I'm not saying they're not capable of making it to the FF, I think they are, however I think it's going to be a tough road for them. All I was trying to say was that I was impressed and no matter what happens in the playoffs, I would judge this season as a successful last way to end the current WCHA. Again that's not to say that they can't make the FF. If it's one and done for you, that sucks, but there's not much shame in losing to a traditionally good school like Notre Dame.

Not everything I post on here is meant to be a put down, Tipsy. I was trying to congratulate your team. And I do hope to see you in the FF. The more Minnesota (and WCHA to a lesser extent) teams the better in my mind.

I didn't say I took it as a put down. You gave your opinion as an outsider. I am trying to give you an idea of how a fan of the program views the season.

My expectations for this season were to compete for the MacNaughton, compete for the Broadmoor, and get to the Frozen Four. You can't just compartmentalize the WCHA season, because that is only a part of the season as a whole. If we win a game against UNH and NMU, we probably get a 2 seed in this tournament and perhaps an easier road to Pittsburgh. We didn't, so that is disappointing and if we lose in the first round that will be a big reason why. Just getting to the NCAA tournament should have been a given this year. I don't think any fan of this program is satisfied with that.

So it used to be you could watch all the NCAA games on ESPN3 without signing in to anything, but now I am hearing you have to sign in with your cable providers info? I just moved and don't have cable yet, I hope I am not now screwed

It is actually your internet provider. I have comcast internet, but have DirecTv. Better call and get it fast.....
