I still think this is the best match-up in the Semi-Finals. This is my favorite bracket, since it appears to be the bracket of Death. Toledo got three awesome games coming their way.

You know what? I'm gonna say it. This is the best bracket SCSU could possibly have ended up in. If they play their game, they're going to the Frozen Four. Then they'll probably get steamrolled by BC.

I think this game is second to Wisconsin-Lowell. I do think Toledo is a really good regional, and all three games should be very good, with any team having a legitimate shot at heading to Pittsburgh.

Seriously. I'm not even sure why the other three teams are showing up. BC is going to steamroll them again. What a joke.

Honestly, I think they'll win that region. And not because of some conspiracy. I just like how they matchup against both Union and Q. (And even more so Canisius if they pull it off.)

I have little faith in those other three schools. I've said before, and I'll say it again: they're having nice seasons. Good for them. It's cute. Wait until they face the traditional powers of BC/UND/MN, and teams that have faced the gauntlet (MSU, SCSU, WI).

Drew LeBlanc is going to need some points to have a crack at making the Hobey Hattrick. He's three off the scoring lead, but three of the guys ahead of him are done for the season. I'm going to say he'll need to come up with three points this weekend to have a crack at it. That would be difficult to accomplish in a one game loss against Notre Dame.
Otherwise, I think the hattrick will be Gaudreau, Kristo, and Hartzell. I think he could bump Kristo with a good weekend.

I agree. With Kristo's off the ice idiocy, I don't think he deserves to be in the mix here.

Good! I hope the voters feel the same way. If that ends up being the case, it'll be difficult to place UND's character candidate over SCSU's character candidate when LeBlanc has the edge in stats. My only concern is that the voters put Kristo into the hattrick as a nod to his stats without seriously considering him for the top award. We'll see.

This should be a really good, close game if both teams show up. Notre Dame is a really good team when they're clicking, but so is SCSU's offense. Listening to coach at the coaches show, it sounds like the bottom lines will be tweaked a bit for this game.
We have 7 guys with double digits in goals but only Thorson has been consistently producing on the bottom two lines.
Morley has a lot of PP goals and Benik is slowly starting to look like the guy we thought he would be coming in.
I won't be shocked if the bottom two lines in Toledo end up being
Benik-Thorson-Morley
Oliver-Rehkamp-Milan/Holka/Bertsch
