Put your hand down!! Kimmerdog, you're out of turn. Please let #'s 29, 28, and 27 to have their turn.

You need to wait 3 more days before jersey #26. :)

How about the great Cardinals goalie Michel Valliere back in the '80's !! He went on to play on several Olympic and World Championship teams for France !! Viva Valliere !!!

Note: That Peterson guy was pretty good for SNC too

Re: 30 day countdown to the official start - you favorite jersey #

What Number was the goalie Paul Mueller for Oswego back in the 80's .... he was pretty good too !!

I second the selection of #29 Ryan Petersen, a solid performer, a great leader, and a classy person.

My favorite 29 for Oswego is Ryan Koresky. I know Plattsburgh fans will remember him for his meltdowns at the end of the '05 and '06 SUNYAC Semi's but he was a tough, hard-nosed D-Man who made up for his less than stellar skating ability with sheer determination. The diving play he made to get the puck into the neutral zone to set up Garren Reisweber's National Championship winning goal in the '07 title game was the type pure hustle play Koresky made all the time during his four years.

I missed 29 but I'll get this in quick and then get 28 in later today.

#29 Justin Joy (Elmira)

Will forever be remembered in Elmira fans hearts for two things.

1. Scoring the game-tying goal with 1.1 seconds left, as well as the game-winning goal in double overtime of the 2006 NCAA Quarterfinals at Manhattanville.

2. Plattsburgh fans and I believe Remy as the #1 toter that "Justin Joy will never be an impact player" at Elmira after he transfered after two seasons at Plattsburgh.

Finished as Elmira's leading scorer in 05-06 with 14 goals and 19 assists for 33 points and 5 game-winning goals while leading the Soaring Eagles to a cinderella NCAA final four run. 2006 was the first year the NCAA went to pre-determined sites every year for the FF with the inaugural one being held at the First Arena in Elmira, NY.

i believe he worn 29,not sure,he was a freshman my senior yr 87' and the starter, wish he had more playoff experience before that yr, but a top goalie who played a lot of Oswego games in net

#28 -- SNC's Nick Tabisz....one of the best 'offensive' D-men I have ever seen play.
Many career highlights...maybe the best...his game winner vs Adrian in the 2011 Ntl Championship game!!

Re: 30 day countdown to the official start - you favorite jersey #

#28 - Joey Wilson. Even though he didn't know the difference between a cat and a dog (personal experience), he was a heck of a scorer. I told everyone he was going to be a stud after his freshman year. 24-17-41 in 28 games in that 2008-2009 season that ended at the Stafford against Neumann. Was very sad to see him leave early.

Speaking of Neumann...didn't Mike Hedden wear 28?

Re: 30 day countdown to the official start - you favorite jersey #

It is now #28's turn. Have at it.

28's been a captain's number in the recent past for the NESCAC.

Last year's Amherst co-captain Mike Moher wore 28 his first two years before switching to 17.

Last year's Bowdoin co-captain Tim McGarry wore 28.

Last year's Colby co-captain Scott Harff donned the 28.
