Agreed. Predictable, and a rehashed storyline (Jack has to pull a gun on the feds and go rogue? Who saw that coming? :rolleyes: ).

The rest of the season looks good though. Hopefully there's one more big twist, like Jack's impending death, right Scarlet? :p

Is it just me, or is Jack's hoarse bellow of "DROP YOUR WEAPON, NOW!!!!" become 24's version of Lost's "WAALLLLTT!!!!"

I don't get why she would do that. She couldn't honestly believe they would be able to subdue Jack could she?

Wait, hold on. So Jack's goal was to get Dana and make her talk. Dana was being held at CTU. Jack was at CTU. Then he stole a helicopter and flew away from CTU, apparently into Manhattan, with the plan of going back to CTU (before he knew Dana was going to be moved offsite) to abduct her? So... why fly away from CTU in the first place? He wasn't going to be able to conduct a one-man armed assault once they knew he was going rogue.

That's separate from the issue of getting from Manhattan to Middle Village (on foot?) in like five minutes, of course. Not to mention how quickly Freddie Prinze Jr. (I can't remember his character's name) and his men got there and set up their ambush.

(I'll let the fact that they said "the Middle Village" instead of "Middle Village" slide.)

If Chloe really wanted Jack out of the way, why not tell him they took Dana to a facility in DC or Connecticut or something? Why make the fake place less than 10 minutes away from the real place?
