I have to say the last 20 minutes was pretty awesome... That's the 24 I knew and loved.

Jack Bauer Died Monday Night and Bush Derangement Syndrome Killed Him

Who are you and what have you done with Jack Bauer? That’s what I wanted to scream at the pod person who starred on “24” last Monday. When the conservative creators of the show left and liberals took over, I was apprehensive.

This season’s writers are dramatizing what they’ve always believed: that what Bauer has been doing for eight seasons was always wrong, and that his behavior this year is the inevitable outcome, that he has, like America under Bush, become completely de-humanized.

One question: When Jack went into the confines of the guy that is helping him, the guy couldn't recognize the Russian guy with the facial software. jack comes in, and all of a sudden it takes a half second to find a match? Is Jack really that intimidating that a machine is afraid of him? Or was the machine running the software and I just didn't see it?

I thought he had identified the Russian, but wanted to know more from Jack before he told him who it was.

This guy is a moron who despite his claims of watching every show since the beginning doesn't even realize that this isn't the first time Jack has gone a little "nutso". Though I agree the torture scene last night was a little brutal, it was in now way out of character for him to do that. I won't even get into the number of villains that Jack has offed over the years despite them being unarmed or defenseless.

That's Jack Bauer he's coming for me. :D The only thing I am wondering now is how long till Logan gets gutted like a fish.

Wouldn't it be easier for Jack to impersonate the chauffeur and pick him up out front rather than going in guns ablazing? yes the guns ablazing is a lot better for TV but the chauffeur thing is smarter.

I think smarter went out the window when he ambushed an ex-president in a tunnel.


Then again, it probably left him about 6 seasons ago.
