24 - Day 8 - Jack Bauer Takes on NYC

Re: 24 - Day 8 - Jack Bauer Takes on NYC

Only one more new episode of 24 ever... crazy.

Re: 24 - Day 8 - Jack Bauer Takes on NYC

I don't understand why it is such a big deal that the bodyguard stabbed him. Renee stabbed him like 10-12 hours ago and it hasn't affected him any.

Re: 24 - Day 8 - Jack Bauer Takes on NYC

I loved when he took a couple pops to the chest, and kept on coming.

Still, I have a feeling this series comes to an end with Jack buying it.

I agree, but I would watch your words. I said the same thing over a month ago, and after wetting her pants in anger, Scarlet came in here and pretty much tried to take my birthday away. ;)

Re: 24 - Day 8 - Jack Bauer Takes on NYC

I thought Jack couldn't die, because they have a movie deal in place.

Unless... "24 The Movie: Starring Agent Cole Ortiz!!"

Re: 24 - Day 8 - Jack Bauer Takes on NYC

Nice to see Logan fall for the old "place a listening device on your suit" trick for the second time.

:D

Re: 24 - Day 8 - Jack Bauer Takes on NYC

Did you hear the fear in his voice when he screamed that? Simply. Awesome.

Logan is sooo awesome. I loved the opening scene of him putting his tie on.
there is going to be bad Jackdrawal in our house next week.

I still think it would be a cool concept to base the movie on Jack's rise within CTU; how he became the baddest man on the planet, etc. But that won't happen.

You're trying my patience.

I'd like to introduce you to a sense of humor, but I have a feeling you've met once already and didn't get along. ;)

Re: 24 - Day 8 - Jack Bauer Takes on NYC

If Chloe has Jack's cell phone, why didn't she just call him to find out where he was?

Re: 24 - Day 8 - Jack Bauer Takes on NYC

I don't think I will be nearly as confused after the 24 finale as I am right now after the Lost finale. I mean, Jack is going to blow **** up and people are going to die, but I'm pretty sure that there won't be any time travel or alternate realities and that's good enough for me.

If they do a movie, I bet it will be a prequel along those lines. That way Jack can still die. That's the only really fitting ending for this series. It's already been foreshadowed a few times this season, so it's got to happen.

They've been trying to get a script for years, so who really knows if it will ever become reality.

It's real. It does seem like they're leading up to his death, based on the previews, but since they're moving forward with the movie, I don't see how that would work. I mean, the movie could take place before his "death", but I think that would be odd.

A new spin off series that's a prequel would be kinda cool, and a way to extend the brand. FOX would have a built in audience for it. Sorta like the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, or whatever that tv show was (even though that tanked).
