But let's go with 4M. As any Congressman knows, every high-paying defense job supports 3-4 gas station attendants, waitresses, child care workers, etc, so 4M layoffs quickly turns to 12M. That's getting into the ballpark of COVID-19 levels of job loss - only permanent. If those 12M people stop stopping at Walmart, Target, and Amazon, then millions more jobs will be lost and the effects snowball into a complete meltdown of the economy.

Anyone who advocates cutting that much spending overnight has only one goal - burn it all down so the billionaires can get these grunt labor unionization movements at places like Amazon and Starbucks back under control. The inevitable tax cuts for them are just a bonus.

True...won't work mind you but it is true. Actions that bad are more likely to lead to rebellion than falling in line.
 
The attack ads on Slotkin are really lame. "She's just too liberal for Michigan" - the only people who think Slotkin is an actual lefty are MAGAts already holding their nose to vote for RINO-turned-MAGA Rogers.

The Harris campaign said they put money into outreach for ex-pats because of the GOP Shenanigans.

On that subject, I got sent a nearly complete absentee voter application from the Alaska Republican Party. Which is weird because a) I’m a registered Nonpartisan and b) They must be freaking out about turnout.

She is going to take away your gas powered cars too! I know this because she has a commercial saying she explicitly won't do that!!!!111!!
