Well I was being a bit tongue in cheek almost every politician is a flip flopper.

It will be interesting to watch...I have no clue how popular the incumbent is and obviously that will be the key.

Yes I know...they can't stop patting themselves on the back for it. They think we forgot they ran 30 in 4 days about Biden and spent months ignoring Trump. (Over 20 unique writers)

It's like Brian Stetler on CNN...he wants praise for going after a Trumper who was spreading lies about the hurricane but didn't get that doesn't offset the sanewashing he did of pretty much every conservative scandal. Cool you did the bare minimum...

I will give them some participation points...but they are still failing epically.
 
The clearly selectively edited "Kamala Harris wants to pay for transgender surgeries with your tax dollars" during football games are starting to get really annoying.

It's also a bit concerning that the Harris campaign is not getting their own ads out during the football games.
 
Now they get to lie about FEMA, and about "who" is actually trying to kill Trump. And all the idiots believe them.

I have 3 yards with Trump signs on my block. I want to power vomit every time I go outside.

And now Marco Rubio is calling the jobs numbers fake.

Fuck these people. I am supposed to be civil to these fucking clowns?

I don't know why people want to be convinced that their life sucks. Especially when it doesn't. I've seen more than enough people pay more than we did 5 years ago to vacation. If life was so bad, then people wouldn't be going instead of just whining about it. Cruises are packed, campgrounds are packed, hotels are more full than not, concerts are full, sports events are full, etc. Stores sell stuff, you see amazon truck everywhere, restaurants have a lot of people on off days, car sales are still good....

Sure, some people's lives do really suck. But most of maga, they don't. At the same time, it's really odd that they want to make their life worse by voting for someone who has already told them that he will make their life worse.

It sure seems that the r plan to gut public education is working to their favor. Thank you, sir; may I have another?
 
Well according to some polling on the subject...people don't think their lives suck they think just overall everything sucks because that is what they hear. It goes against conventional wisdom but it isn't just The Right. People on the Left buy the narrative too and accept it as legit because they see it on the news or read it on Social Media.

It is astounding how many people will complain about the price of eggs (many of whom have never bought eggs) from their $1000 cell phone. (with $100 monthly plan)

Greed blinds you to the truth I guess.
 
What I don't get is if the MSM only cares about clicks and views, why wouldn't calling out Trump as a lying POS do just that? How does sane-washing his cray-cray attract more eyeballs than for example, "You're not going to believe Donald Trump's latest bizarre comments..." or, "No Mr. Trump - FEMA's coffers have not been emptied and no they're not being used on illegal immigrants" or whatever?

It's more crazy to me that people don't consider themselves when thinking of "how bad it is". Go on a $10k trip, and pretend that everything is in the garbage can. Buy a $50k car and think that the economy is the worst it's ever been so that we need to give people who don't *need* a tax cut, gets one. They also want to deny *why* prices go up (and then back down). Eggs may be a little more expensive overall, but the spikes are not because of inflation, it's because of avian flu that's killing egg layers. Gas may be expensive overall, but the spikes are because we have multiple wars going on in oil producing regions- let alone that we are very not friendly with the country with the largest oil reserves in our hemisphere. Let alone the stupid concept that the EV mandate is going to kill the US auto industry- as if GM and Ford are not capable of making EVs in the US. Given where Ford is building a massive battery plant, I'm sure the people who are building it as well as the ones who will work there actually believe that BS line even while they are US workers working on a US OEM plant to build batteries in the US.

But at the same time, they are actively working to MAKE other people's lives worse, and they know it. Restrict abortion- check; restrict voting- check; restrict the movement of workers- check; restrict unions so workers get less-check. Even the farmers who suffer a ton because of restricted immigration are doing that.

I don't really understand why they so desire to worship a false idol, but they sure seem to want to.

Because the MSM WANTS trump to win. Plain as that. They are placing a bet. The bet being trump wins but our democracy manages to survive, and they get even more clicks and purchases because the trump circus gets people paying attention. The MSM was dying quickly before 2016. Now its dying a little bit slower. If trump goes away and things get a little more "normal" who needs the New York Times (who needs the Times anyway is a better question)? A trump win and those clicks and views will be exponentially greater. The only small measure of justice in a trump win will be if members of the MSM are some of the people hanging from gallows.

That's part of it but there more. The truth is the media knows no one under the age of 30 gets there news on TV or in the paper. So they court an older demographic hoping to still stay relevant. Faux survives on The Olds and CNN and The Times are trying to peel off some of them with more right leaving content. Plus people click the ridiculously stupid headlines on social so they get that too.

Plus Trump supporters own most of the media.
 
Think about this...The GOP won't call Congress back into session to get more funding to FEMA. All so they can lie and let people die. If that doesn't break the fever for some of these people (especially who live in the path of the hurricanes) then they are lost for good.

Shouldn't this be where Biden issues an EO to reprogram some other general DHS funding to FEMA, points to the SCOTUS ruling in Trump v. United States, and tells the GOP and the courts to pound sand?
