Slotkin has been running ads since the primaries both pro-herself and anti-Mike Rogers. Just saw a Mike Rogers ad today and I'm pretty sure this is the first one he's rolled out. There are a couple PACs that have run anti-Slotkin ads but this is the first ad actually having Rogers approve the message. And even then he made it 25 seconds anti-Slotkin and only 5 seconds of positivity for himself.

That's my point.

The media CAN (and I think do) manipulate the information so that they get more political ads as well as people looking at their entertainment.

That ignores the clear manipulation of people that faux does.

That's pretty much my #1 reason to ignore the news- I trust the links posted here for one thing. And for the other, nothing is going to change my vote. I don't care how nice, or even applicable some republican might be right now- they all signed on to dumpy as their leader, and they follow him.

It makes it really easy who I am voting for, even for "non-partisan" things.

republicans stopped being conservative and are now radical militants. They try to bring up the Democrats spending, but none of their worshipers seem to understand how bad trickle down economics has been to our country, for one thing, and how it's so much more radical economics than tax and spend is- by a HUGE margin. We are a nation of laws, but r's are stripping the ability to enforce them.

So ignoring the news is good for my health and doesn't help if I consume it directly.

via @lawofruby - The Special Counsel's immunity filing is still under seal, but its sealing motion itself is now public. And as promised, the Special Counsel says their brief contains never-before seen "sensitive material."
But read further and you'll see that the government does not want to redact quotes or summaries from the same "Sensitive Material" even as it proposes heavy or total redactions to the sources and the original material.
