They'd obviously still vote for Trump, but they could not then vote for Rubio for VP. If Rubio doesn't get a majority without Florida, it'd go to the Senate to pick between the two highest vote getters. If Dems maintain the Senate, they could make Kamala the VP.

I think Vance is a great pick. He’ll help Trump a lot in PA, MI, and WI and should help with the military vote as well. I’m interested to see how he does with younger voters given he’s 20 years younger than Kamala and 40 years younger than Trump/Biden.

Reporting I am hearing right now says that if Trump was actually going to pivot to a unifying message the last thing he would have done is pick Vance.

Frankly I wish he'd choose the craziest mother f uc ker out there. MTG, Lake or Boebert would be perfect in my eyes. Or better yet, the My Pillow a ss wipe.

He doesn't trust addicts, so it was never going to be Lindell. Lake is IMO the only woman he might have picked, but she's unavailable and he needs her to win that AZ Senate senate a lot more than he needs her as a running mate.

-Burgum (boring and doesn't need him to win North Dakota or the plains)
-Scott (only moves the needle with black church aunties and half of them already know he's probably gay)
-Vance (O-HI-O; wrote a popular, exaggerated account of his younger life - sound familiar?)
