Oh I remember...that class changed my opinion on things as well. I just remember me and you arguing about Palestine back then and you had a bit more sympathy :p

That was one of my favorite classes ever at the U. Not as much fun as our White Collar Crime class but I learned a heckuva lot more and it still sticks with me. I wonder where she is now...

That they got screwed and that Israel was being awful. Back then Israel wasn't trying to annihilate them but...yeah. I argued it was more complex than that based on other factors but honestly it soundness have mattered.

I think you knew some refugees so that was your point of view. I had an uncle there and 20+ years of Pro-Israel propaganda tainting my view.

Saw a nice article today about how the Taliban are now passing a law that makes it illegal for a man to look at another woman. So I assume the punishment will be just as harsh as say, for a woman not covering her face.

Careful what you wish for, White Maga Taliban. Surely your authoritarian leaders would never come after you.
 
I think he is just saying anything at this point that people cheer for. For example he heard people boo at the Vance rally because of the rate cut so now he is saying lower inflation means the economy stinks so we need higher inflation.

Now, it should be noted that economically speaking some inflation is good but that isn't what he is talking about. He thinks his people want high interest rates since they booed so now he is advocating for that. And funny they are with him. Even his media whores are starting to parrot it.

I mean it is full on 1984 stuff.

I posted in the countries thread a few days ago about how afghani men are now whining that the Taliban is also starting to infringe on their rights, some feel like they have to grow a beard.

I hope all the Afghani men who have never given a shit about women get a hot spiked poker up their ass

But the Star Tribune just published a poll that Harris has a "slight" lead of 5%...meanwhile Klobuchar is up 11 cause that somehow works.

Looks like the Strib is starting their "it's closer than you think" bs. On the plus side they took down their paywall on election coverage until the Guy Fawkes Day.
