I watched mist if Biden live...it was awesome but bittersweet.

As for Teamster President...I get the trying to live troll the RNC a bit but the second it becomes clear you made yourself look like a fool you then endorse Harris to save face. To a lot of people he looks like a corrupt Hoffa style boss out to make himself and his "people" look better at the cost of membership.

Meanwhile UAW looks amazing not just because they endorsed but because they let membership decide.

He was trying to look smart and play both sides but ended up looking like an idiot and POing a large sector of the union that got him elected.

Yeah but Putin said he prefers Biden over Trump, and that’s way more important than what Bibi thinks, ergo, Trump needs to win in November so Putin is bigly mad.
 
Kennedy's VP pick apparently let it be known they are trying to decide whether to stay in the race or join forces with Trump.

So much for being independent...

Yeah, Sam Waterston retired and they brought in Tony Goldwyn back in February/March. Watching Biden the past six months or so and how he has slowed down so much reminded of Sam Waterston the past few years on L&O. Both still legends but you can tell they've gotten old.

I caught some of this while on break (we have a janitor and a maintenance guy who are usually the first in the break room and set the TV to Fox News for this break every day).

It was strange. Dump actually had a script/notes in front of him on the podium and he kept reading from that. It really stood out to me that he was trying to "tone things down" with this talk.

It makes me wonder if someone close to him sat him down and straight up told him that if he keeps firing from the hip and spewing BS, he has ZERO shot at this.

I can't recall him being this toned down for an appearance before. Very monotone voice. He seemed uninterested in any interaction with the crowd. He really did seem like a child who was forced to read in front of class, but wanted nothing to do with talking that day.
 
He has been doing that for the past few days. They are trying to keep him on message but it ends up never working.

I like Gary peters action tonight. He had rank and file teamsters on stage since Sean wasn’t invited
 
Watching the roll call. Two questions 1) Who is the guy on stage calling out the states? 2) How do they decide who announces the votes? Georgia had Lil Jon. Is that allowed?

And LOL the DJ on the stage started playing the B52s’ Private Idaho when it was Idaho’s turn.

California passed. Assuming because that’s where she is from and they want to close it out.
