So Walz it is. Cool. What happens now in Minnesota - the Lt. Gov takes over? Is that someone like Walz?

A teeny part of me thinks he got the job because he was the one that coined the "he's weird" phenomenon that has freaked the GOP out and he can keep it going. Oh, and he's obviously qualified but that set him over the top. :)
 
Walz is a great VP pick. Military guy, school teacher, shreds Repubs with a smile on his face. Got all the creds. Been in Congress, been a governor. About the same age as Kamala.

There's literally nothing of substance for the GOP to attack.

Now they need to convince the base to come out in droves and vote for the ticket. Biden's gone, Walz is NOT a boomer. Kamala is a great candidate. Get it done.

She’s more progressive than Walz, so we’d be good. She already is the highest ranking Native American woman in elected office in the nation, but would get bumped another level up!

I don't know what the rules are in MN, but does Walz have to step down now? Or, can he wait to see if he wins the VP election?

Most of the Congressional Dems did including the Progressives and Bernie. (Not to mention UAW) I would bet most of the Governors too since he heads the Governors Conference.

I realize to most he is rather unknown which is a negative, but in the Party he is very well liked and respected going back to his days in Congress. And look what he has done with slim margins here.

And damn...the idea of a Native Woman possibly leading Minnesota makes my history teaching azz so happy!

I won't lie, im also glad Shapiro won't be representing Jews on the ticket.
