I love that the GOP talking point on Biden bringing the hostages home isnt any real joy or congratulations...it's "people are afraid of Trump winning so they are making deals now to be in his good graces". Trump is calling it a bad deal and said he never gave anything up when he got hostages home. (Fact check: LIE!) And sure weirdos like Chuckles will believe it but none of the dwindling "double haters" are going to vote for him because of rhetoric like this.

Bidens response to Trumps comment at his press conference was great! "Why didn't he do it when he was president then?" :D

I make my living working for a labor union. I've worked for 3 different ones. I will say right now even though Kelly and Shapiro might have labor union "baggage" some unions have concerns about, I have none. Not that they are right there with labor 100% of time by any means. But for the big issues, neither would stand in the way of the most important things we're (us here, not me or other union folks) concerned with.

Besides, the fixes we need to put into our laws where labor and organizing and all of that stuff matters are HUGE. Nothing of consequence will get done on these issues unless we have a Democrat in the White House like Biden, and Democrats are in such good favor with the nation that we own the House with numbers like the 1970s and we have a filibuster proof senate.

Of all the people mentioned, Shapiro seems to be the one with the most potential baggage or skeletons. Other than Shapiro I would be fine with all that are being vetted. I think he needs to be crossed off the list for reasons having nothing to do with unions or labor. My fear is the party will revert back to its time-honored circular firing squad days and pick the worst one of the bunch.

that sounds like Shapiro. Name him, let the crazies who think Shapiro is genocide joe throw their fits, and get on with things.
 
There isn't really a "worst of the bunch" in this case. Cooper probably was and he wasn't that bad either. I don't see any of these guys pushing much of the coalition away.

I think if Shapiros skeletons were as bad as some on Social Media implied it would have blown up by now. He has been the one the media has been touting since the announcement as the leader. Someone would have put out a story by now tanking him...

The way i figure, if a decision has been made we will hear about it soon. They will let the hostage return have another day then it will start loading Saturday or Sunday.
 
If it's Shapiro, I'm sure he's fine. I guess I'm just a little annoyed by the pro-Israel crowd taking the opportunity to imply that all the criticism of Shapiro on Israel = t3h antisemitism!11!1!!!1

I wonder if Tlaib will try and tank him. I would hope not but...
 
Well as dx said we can win without Michigan if needed (I don't think it would come to that since Black turnout will offset) but without Pennsylvania it becomes way harder. And Philly has a huge Muslim population I believe and he is still very popular...

I would assume if he is the guy they talked to her.

Congressional Dems appear to be pimping Walz...that tells me a decision hasn't been made or if it has been no one knows.

Trump with an epic word salad about crypto, which he clearly doesn't understand: "Crypto is a very interesting thing. Very high level in certain ways. Intellectually very high level.
