2024-25 Season Discussion, Recruits, Thoughts, Etc.

Elmira lost 81% of its scoring to graduation. If they're a top 10 team, then I'm a woman.

I believe we posters could come up with a more accurate version of a meaningless poll.
 
Every preseason poll is based on last year's results and brand name relax. Give it a month and if the poll still doesn't make sense then we can make fun of it. Hopefully this poll will be easier to get rid of any biased voters if they pop up (like the guy who gave st norbort a 1st place vote wtf).

Seems a bit strange even to me... perhaps it's because they had nine freshmen on their roster last year and where a game away from the frozen four? No snark intended in this first part of the comment.

There is snark in this part of the comment, though. It's "St. Norbert" not "St. Norbort" lmao

"Norbort" being an autocorrect? No way that would ever show up as an autocorrect. It's OK to admit you just misspelled it. We all know.

Thanks for confirming my observation by not denying my assertion. I'm also surprised that your autocorrect didn't fix "posseses," since we also all know you would never lie.
 
Thanks my little nubby buddy, ur attention to detail is one of the many reasons ur so beloved on this website. Tell me how should we celebrate ur upcoming 15 year anniversary? A man of ur stature and fame 100% deserves one.
 
Geneseo, playing with 11 first years, 7-1 over Buff. State (who had, I believe, two first years). (Buff state also had fewer players dressed for some reason.) (Edit: The uscho scoreboard is incorrect.)

Checking in from Plymouth State

Lost some prominent seniors but looking promising roster-wise. Have some good recruits hopefully and pulled in a defender from UVM and Cortland (beating them in the tournament must've convinced him). Feeling good but team has some big shoes to fill again, especially with a tough schedule to start.

Exhibition against NEC came out to a 5-2 win. Could have been worse, but a bit of sloppy play during transitions and some bad turnovers. Should have a good year again in MASCAC... out of conference we'll see. Starting the season with back-to-back away against UNE and Babson, a home opener against Plattsburgh, and then NEC (again) and MASCAC opponents before hosting Trinity before Thanksgiving.
