Why is that that the Pairwise rankings show that some teams have played more total games than others?

For example why has Clarkson played 41 games (including 36 regular season games)?

And why does it show that Ohio State has played 1 more game than Minnesota?

I can't speak for Clarkson, but the reason Minnesota is shown having played one fewer game than Ohio State is because they've played one fewer game than Ohio State. A team (I don't know which one) pulled out of one of Minnesota's scheduled non-conference series, but the Gophers did play in the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame game, getting back one of the two they lost.

Adding, I see Umpherville had a goal and an assist. I don't know if it's the unusual name or that she's a pretty decent player, but I remember her from when Wisconsin played LIU two years ago and/or when LIU played a long, long OT game during their conference tournament that I happened to watch.
