Local Milwaukee reporter saying that it does NOT appear to be a knee injury for Decker. I'm not sure what that could mean, good or bad, but Decker family thinks it is good news.

Even if the rules would allow it under normal circumstances - and I have no idea if they do - COVID restrictions and 'quarantine time' probably precludes it. That is, I don't think Britta Curl is just gonna hop on a plane and be inside the COVID bubble 48 hours later.

The roster is 23 players: 3 goalies, 13 forwards, 7 D.

I'm saying it isn't really up to Curl, or the US team, etc. I think it is the case that by the time a player such as Curl could clear restrictions and be allowed fully into 'the bubble', the tournament will be over.

Adding, another reporter on twitter posts that USAHockey was asked in early January if they would be bringing a 'taxi squad' with them into the bubble for just this circumstance, and the answer was 'no', the 23 player roster would be it.
