2022 Frozen Four

Who was the host school when it was at Lake Placid -- SLU?

Anyway, should probably talk about the current game going to OT.

Time to cue up a Mueller or Giguere goal.

I feel like there is not much time between games. Gonna need an early goal, ladies.

I don’t blame the refs for trying to leave the players play but after those 2 take downs, I’d hate to see what is called if anything….

I've got a UW basketball game scheduled for 8:30 CDT to worry about. Maybe they'll be delayed by early game OT, too!

OT is Giguere time. Beautiful feed to Rogge for the winner.

Congrats to UMD.

It sure is. Awesome job by Hewitt doing the work in the neutral zone so Giguere could scoop and (create a) score.

Not a wonder that UMD was one of the schools leading the charge on expanding the tourney.

Real nice pickpocket of the puck to get into the zone….shot was taken fairly deep into the zone so not sure why Rogge wasn’t stood up but nice play by her and Giguerre……Can’t imagine how heavy Frankel’s glove was at the end! Anyone think that Yale has any chance of winning?

The PxP guy on Westwood One has done an excellent job.
I wasn't sure about his comment that UMD and Northeastern are the two deepest teams here -- OSU was deeper than the Bulldogs all year -- but maybe he has better intel. And he's been enthusiastic throughout and doesn't act like he has somewhere better to be. Kendall has mostly done well, but she wears NU on her sleeve a little too much. When asked after two periods what UMD needs to do to get back into the game, she said, that the Huskies can't sit back if they're going to win. O-kay!

Who is announcing the ESPN+ feed?

What's that?

What's that?

The same play-by-play guy as last year, and AJ in the booth. And they added Hilary Knight at ice level. She was good with player point-of-view stuff, but got in the way of play-by-play a bit.

Anyone think that Yale has any chance of winning?
Definitely a chance; this is hockey. OSU isn't unbeatable, but they're a good team. Is this about 65/35 maybe? I don't know enough about Yale to really say.
