The Sinners are masterful at it...Question for you. Did you notice that as much with UMD?
 
Just an observation from my limited following of the women's game. When you get the better teams on the ice together it's more difficult to score compared to the men's game. More scoreless games deeper into the game.

Wisconsin is definitely playing more 'cautious' than normal, and I'd guess the same for Northeastern as well. Understandable. More dump and chase than usual.
 
All I can say is, may the best team win! Hoping that a great goal decides it.

You're right about the WCHA pride thing. But then halfway through the 2nd period I decided I wanted Northeastern to win. Cheering for the Badgers was just too much of a strain and against my nature. That and I still want the Gophers to be the only team to have won six NCAA Titles.

I’ve changed my support and am now rooting for NU. Very turned off by WI’s cheap shots. Lots of dirty cross checks both in front of the refs and when the refs aren’t looking. Classless.
 
For between period action, the Olympic Channel has the women’s slalom.....look at the pitch of that mountain!!
