I just your earlier post as well. KRACH is used in the simulator as one of the pieces to determine who will win the matchup. The results of those matchups are then put in the Pairwise calculator, and the NCAA Tournament selection will be based on the simulated AQs from each conference, and then using the Pairwise rankings. I hope that clarifies things a bit.

Yes, thank you for running these. By the way, game simulation is underway for March Madness also, but I don't know what model they are using.

I decided that I might as well do this. I do have a problem, namely that besides for the ECAC, I don't know who will play whom next weekend and on what day. So there are a lot of “next weekend”s without opponents and dates. I could assume that all semis are Friday and all leagues have best vs. worst in one game and the two middle teams in the other, but I am not sure, so feel free to add data.


Belts before last weekend. Nothing changed after Friday because all of Friday’s games were game one of best-of-three series.

We just commuted 35 miles in an hour and 15 minutes, paid 50$ to park at the Fleet and are now partying at the team party in the pub across the street. Wearing beads, blue wig and working out how to smuggle my cowbells in because they have no idea that cowbells are required in a hockey game.
