This gives the man a graceful and needed exit. Purely for his own health who wants to see an 80 year old man fresh off of heart surgery spending the next 13 months going balls to the wall trying to win the WH? Drop out, endorse Warren, and go back to the less stressful Senate.

Yes. Assuming of course he is forced out of the race over this he needs to make it very clear who gets his support.

Now it should be noted stents are amazing and when my father got one he was on his feet and doing normal things rather quickly. With that said he also wasnt running for office and was still forced to go on meds to control his moods more.

Warren should drop out and endorse the candidate whose ideas she's blatantly stealing and pretending are her own :)

People who have an ego large enough to cause them to run for President, and perceive a chance to win that race, don't typically quit.

That's the key. It's a death sentence. Everybody can understand that. And all the candidates can wax poetic over Brave Brave Sir Bernie. Like Moses or Dr. King, he doesn't get to the mountain but he led us to it.

Warren is 70, Sniffles is 73, Biden is 76 and Bernie is 78. Let's not pretend these are spring chickens.

I don't think anyone outside a handful of people on this board actually think he should or is going to drop out before any actual voting happens.

The Democrats could run a triathlete against Sniffles and the GOP will make health an issue. Hillary slipped on some ice and the GOP claimed she was on her death bed.

Biden can barely complete a sentence without slurring his words, praising republicans, saying something racist, forgetting what he just literally just proposed a minute ago in a national debate, or showing blatant signs of mental decline that weren't there even a few years ago. His own team is limiting his appearances because of this and pretty much everyone in his camp told him not to run including Obama if the rumors are true. If we're going to talk about which candidates aren't mentally fit for the job it's not even close between him and Bernie.

You can live in denial about this...but his campaign is not going to survive this.

So your defense of an old man with heart issues running is that another candidate none of us support isnt fit to run? I dont think that proves the point you think it does.

What would you be saying if it was Warren who had this procedure? I highly doubt you would be ripping Biden in her defense.
