It depends who we're talking about. The people who watch Tucker, yes, undoubtedly those people are mostly unreachable. The people in the town hall liked his proposals though specifically M4A.

they care more about job prospects. they care about themselves, first and foremost.

Yeah because the choice is often between the slightly less conservative/racist democrat who offers to raise their taxes and not much else. And a Republican.

We'll see. I like that theory, but we'll see. I still think the 3 things I listed below is what prevents it.

yup. GOP voters expect Dems to preserve their benefits which frees them to vote GOP in order to enact their white supremacist fantasies. The only thing that would possibly change that is if Chump and the rest of the cult took away something that they already have. That's why knucks' always tend to leave Social Security benefits alone and stamp out any libertarian in their caucus who starts bleating about getting rid of it. Its the older bread and butter GOP voter who would be directly affected.

So, I see only two groups of Trump voters turning their back on him in 2020. 1) hard core lefties and indifferent voters who voted Trump to protest/send a message not understanding that they were voting for Nazi's, or 2) Farmers in places like Iowa who are directly and brutally getting crushed by his needless trade war. The first group won't make the same mistake again (although they could just sit out the election which is almost as bad). The second group time will tell.

That's based on the assumption that there were tons of vote switchers. Frankly I don't think there were that many excluding disgruntled Sanders voters between 2012 and 2016 (sure from 2008 to 2016 but that's because GWB was such a fuk up mookie could have been elected Prez that year for the Dems). I think places flipped because Dems either stayed home or voted for that Stein loon. Therefore, trying to convince people who get off on watching kids being thrown in cages at the border to vote Dem is a waste of time. Put another way, if these people decide to support you, the election would be called the second the polls close on the west coast (the 2008 example) because its already a blow out.

mookie and Sic are 20 years behind the times! The GOP is a cult. If the Rev. Moon tells you to sign over all of your wealth to him, you do it, even if its against your economic interests. That same mentality applies to every GOP voter who's not making a million bucks a year.
